Kansas Jayhawks vs Texas Tech Red Raiders Prediction, Odds and Picks for Saturday, 10/11/25
Kansas vs Texas Tech Pickswise Expert Predictions
Texas Tech is 5-0 against the spread, and it seems the market could be over correcting as this line has moved from -11.5 to -14 at most books with roughly 70% of public tickets on the Red Raiders at the time of writing. While Texas Tech has a top-10 overall defense this season allowing only 11.2 points per game, this Kansas offense is a wagon. The Jayhawks rank 6th in EPA/rush and 1st in the country in EPA/dropback behind QB Jalon Daniels, who has been slinging it this season.
As double-digit underdogs, the Jayhawks should find themselves forced into passing situations early, which could play into their favor late-game with a large spread like this. This will be the toughest test to date for the Red Raiders defense, and I’ll fade the public and back the Jayhawks squad that ranks 2nd in overall EPA margin this season. I’ll take Kansas to cover on the road.
Kansas vs Texas Tech prediction: Kansas +14.5 (-110) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number or better.
