Point Spread Pick
Missouri Win -2.5(-115)

The Missouri Tigers will look to finish their season off with a win when they take on the Arkansas Razorbacks this Saturday. Missouri has a record of 7-4 this season and an SEC record of 3-4. The Tigers have lost three of their last four games, including their last loss against Oklahoma 17-6. Quarterback Beau Pribula did not have his best game, throwing for 231 yards and 2 interceptions. Running back Ahmad Hardy, college football’s leading rusher, was also kept in check only running for 57 yards on 17 attempts. Arkansas has a record 2-9 this season with an SEC record of 0-7. After winning their first two games of the season, the Razorbacks have lost their last nine games. They are coming off a 52-37 loss against Texas in their last game. It was the eighth time this season that the Razorbacks had allowed their opponent to score more than 30 points.

Both teams have dealt with an injury to their quarterbacks in recent weeks, but both Missouri’s Beau Pribula and Arkansas’s Taylen Green are expected to go in this game. Despite Arkansas’ record, they are not a team that can be overlooked, especially with Green under center. The Razorbacks are a top offense in college football ranking 11th in yards per game at 473 yards and 23rd in scoring with 34 points per game. It has been their defense that has let them down all season, ranking 126th in yards allowed per game at 432 yards and 126th in points allowed with 34 points per game. The Arkansas defense has allowed 173.5 rushing yards per game this season, setting them up for what will be a difficult day stopping Hardy.  Missouri’s defense should be equipped to match Arkansas’ explosive offense, only allowing 274 yards per game this season. Arkansas is also one of the worst teams in college football in turnover margin at -12 on the season. If the Tigers can get some stops and turnovers defensively, their running game should be able to guide them to victory.

Missouri -2.5 is available at the time of publishing. Playable at that number.
