NC State Wolfpack vs Notre Dame Fighting Irish Prediction, Odds and Picks for Saturday, 10/11/25

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish host the North Carolina State Wolfpack on Saturday afternoon in South Bend. The Irish come into the game at 3-2, with losses to Texas A&M and Miami, and the Irish will need to run the table from here to have a shot at the playoffs. They probably also need to win games decisively, and the spread in this game is indicative of that. NC State comes in at 4-2, and the rest of their schedule is much harder. My expectation in this game is that he Irish will win big, and NC State will begin a downhill slide as they are exposed down the stretch. Give me the Irish to cover a big number at -23.

Notre Dame has one of the most dominant offensive lines in the country, and they should be able to bully the Wolfpack in this game. At the end of the season, losses to A&M and Miami won’t look bad, as long as there are no others, and dominant wins against Arkansas Purdue, and Boise State are exactly what the Irish need to regain some respect. They may struggle somewhere along the line, but it should not be at home against NC State. The Wolfpack has proven to have a competent offense, but they haven’t faced anyone near the caliber of Notre Dame so far, and I fully expect that to matter. If the Irish can manhandle Boise State at home by 21, covering 23 against NC State should be well within reach. The driving thing for me here is that it is not enough for Notre Dame to just win; they need to win big.
