Unfortunately, they did not due to costly turnovers on their own part.

Sure, everytime ISU looked like it was about to pull away, the Cats found a way to claw back and keep it close. But still, Iowa State got a lot of love from the betting market heading into the tilt in the Emerald Isle and they won. Good for them.

Kansas State meanwhile sits 4-9 against the number in its last 13 matches. The Wildcats’ stock is depleted and no one is going to want to spot this kind of tag to anyone with them. Kansas State didn’t even score 25 points last week, so many would wonder how would they cover by 25 this week, even if it is against a weaker opponent by contrast. Bottom line, Kansas State is a team that is going to be undervalued for stretches while they are failing to cash tickets. Now is the time to move in on Kansas State because the number is deflated. Had the Wildcats done what they were supposed to do and won and covered against Iowa State, this number would pushing north of 30.
