South Carolina Gamecocks vs LSU Tigers Prediction, Odds and Picks for Tomorrow, 10/11/25
South Carolina vs LSU Pickswise Expert Predictions
Both South Carolina and LSU are coming off a bye week heading into this SEC matchup in Death Valley, with the Tigers looking for a bounce-back win after suffering its first loss of the year against Ole Miss last time out. While it’s true the Tigers have struggled to run the ball, running 117th in rushing yards per game, but ironically LSU has been more efficient in the run game compared to the Gamecocks. LSU ranks 56th in EPA/rush while South Carolina is 99th in the same category and 132nd in rushing success rate. This LSU defense is elite, and I would be surprised if South Carolina managed much success.
We know South Carolina QB LaNorris Sellers is a runner, but even when forced to throw the Tigers rank 16th in EPA/dropback defensively and 20th in defensive efficiency against the pass. According to PFF, the LSU secondary ranks 16th in coverage and there is a significant discrepancy in havoc created. LSU ranks 28th nationally in havoc created while South Carolina ranks 117th in havoc allowed. With all things considered, I’ll back LSU to bounce back and cover the spread at home.
South Carolina vs LSU prediction: LSU -8 (-115) available at time of publishing. Playable up to -9.5 (-110).
