After a wild opening weekend, the 2026-27 Premier League soccer season continues with another batch of huge matches. Our soccer experts have their EPL picks for EVERY Premier League soccer game this weekend, but for now, let's break down their hottest predictions and give our 3 EPL best bets. We went 2-1 last week, including winners at +220 and +120 odds! Let's look to bank some more profit with this weekend's EPL predictions.

EPL Best Bet: Coventry ML over Hull (-115)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing. Playable to -125.

Coventry entertain Hull in the Premier League on Saturday in a matchup between two of the promoted teams, who have made contrasting starts to the new season.

The Tigers stunned Manchester United with a 2-0 win in Hull last weekend, while Coventry were given a reality check as they went down 3-0 at champions Arsenal.

It is fair to say that Hull rode their luck at times against United and Coventry did respond well to their defeat to the Gunners by beating League One club Plymouth in the EFL Cup in midweek, and Saturday’s game looks a perfect chance for the Sky Blues to claim their first points of the season.

Hull may have enjoyed a dream start against United, but they gave up a lot of chances in that game and didn’t see a great deal of the ball, finishing with just 28% possession.

With home advantage, Coventry can get a win over the line on Saturday as they were excellent at home in the Championship last season with 17 wins in 23 games, while Hull had a mixed road record and they’ve managed just one away win in their last seven competitive trips across all competitions.

The Tigers were also held to a 1-1 draw at Stoke in the EFL Cup in midweek, and whether they avoid an immediate return to the second tier or not this season will probably be determined by their results at home, rather than on their travels.

Coventry didn’t offer much at Arsenal but they won’t be the only team to go to the Emirates this season and be dominated, so there isn’t a great deal we can take from that performance. On the basis of their results at home last season, they should be able to beat Hull.

EPL Best Bet: Everton win or tie over Bournemouth (-140)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing. Playable to -150.

Bournemouth suffered late heartbreak in their Premier League opener against Manchester City as their first-half lead was transformed into a 2-1 defeat in the closing stages at the Etihad.

On the face of it, this can be seen as a positive performance, but the Cherries were extremely fortunate to hold the lead for as long as they did, and they may be forced to wait even longer for their first win against Everton on Saturday.

They had just five shots at the Etihad and, while the Toffees were fortunate to beat Crystal Palace in their opener, David Moyes’ team is generally compact in defense.

Everton followed that success with a 4-0 thrashing of Preston in the EFL Cup and, with confidence high, they look good value to get something from the Vitality Stadium.

EPL Best Bet: Chelsea vs Brighton Over 2.5 Goals (-160)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing. Playable to -175.

Chelsea and Brighton both made winning starts to the Premier League season last weekend and followed those successes up with cup victories – the Blues beating Luton in the EFL Cup and the Seagulls putting four past Tromso in the Conference League.

Two wins from two is certainly a strong start for new Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso – with front three Joao Pedro, Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers all clicking into gear – but defensive fragility remains a concern.

The Blues conceded twice against Fulham in their Premier League opener and have now gone 17 games in the EPL without keeping a clean sheet.

An open-play xG of 1.96 underlined that Chelsea can outgun their opponents in the final third, but so can Brighton, who were the only team to boast a higher open-play xG on the opening weekend, racking up a total of 3.54 in their 4-0 thrashing of Aston Villa.

Brighton followed up that 4-0 success over Villa by beating Tromso by the same scoreline to secure their place in the league phase of the Conference League.

Confidence should certainly be high within Fabian Hurzeler’s squad, especially as they have won each of their last four meetings with Chelsea in league and cup, and have scored two or more goals in six of the last seven head-to-heads.
