It may be worth giving another chance to Brooks Koepka, who crept into contention in round three of the Valspar Championship on Saturday, trading at single-figure odds before fading to finish 18th.

Some loose shots cost the Floridian down the stretch at Copperhead, but he is clearly finding his feet on the PGA Tour again, and Memorial Park is a much less penal venue than last week’s layout.

Koepka finished fifth in the first Houston Open at this venue after assisting with the renovations, so he knows this course particularly well. This could be the week he returns to the winner’s circle.
