New York Knicks
Point Spread Pick
NY Knicks +4.0(-110)

The New York Knicks were able to extend the series the last time out and will now be looking to force a Game 7. They finally had success slowing down the Pacers offense, holding them to just 94 points in Game 5. Pascal Siakam was the only starter on the team that was able to reach double-digit points and even then managed just 15, well below his series average. The Knicks were able to force their opponents into 20 turnovers in the game. Moving Mitchell Robinson into the starting lineup seems to have worked, with the center being a deterrent at the rim, helping break down the Pacers offense.

The hosts tonight have had issues with Jalen Brunson all series, with the Knicks star managing 30 or more points in 4 of the 5 games so far, making 51.4% of his field goal attempts. Andrew Nembhard is not a physically imposing defender which allows Brunson to flourish. With his consistent production, the Knicks should be able to turn to him in key moments of the game, which should help keep this competitive. Tom Thibodeau has also extended the bench, with 4 players now coming in and playing meaningful minutes. Against a team that place at the pace that the Pacers do, it has helped keep their starters fresher later in the games. If they can close out the game strong, they will have a great chance to win the game, so getting 4 points on the Knicks is great value.

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props.
