There are 9 games on the schedule Monday night in the NBA. Six games have a spread of 4 points or fewer and only 1 is double-digits. Only 3 games have a total of 220 points or higher. As always, stay up date on the latest injury news since lines can change.

Bets may be added throughout the day if there are additional spots that arise, so be sure to check back later in the day. My record is 29-19 for the season.

Here are my picks for tonight.

Miami Heat at Cleveland Cavaliers (-5)

The Cavaliers have been mentioned here frequently and have been making us serious money. It’s usually as an underdog, but they are playing extremely well and are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as favorites. The Cavaliers are 21-7 ATS overall. They have covered in 10 straight games. They have won 7 of their last 9 games and the losses were by 1 point to the Jazz and 8 to the Bucks. The Cavaliers won the last 3 games by 22, 17 and 14 points. The Heat will be without Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, two of the top defenders and big parts of the offense. The teams met Dec. 1 in Miami and Cleveland won, 111-85. Butler and Adebayo didn’t play in that game. Cleveland is ranked third in defensive efficiency.

Jae’Sean Tate Over 3.5 Assists (-125 on Caesears)

Tate has had the ball in his hands more with the absence of Kevin Porter Jr. and Jalen Green. Tate has gone over this total in 7 of the last 8 games. He had 3 assists on Saturday and only played 25 minutes due to foul trouble. In the previous 7 games, Tate had 9, 5, 7, 4, 7, 8 and 5 assists. Atlanta is 25th in the NBA, allowing 25 assists per game.

Jarrett Allen Over 16.5 Points (-120 on Caesears)

I’ve been cashing on Allen’s props frequently and the line has barely moved. Allen has gone over this total in 10 of the last 11 games, including at least 20 points 6 times. The Heat have been an excellent defensive team, but the absence of Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler makes them weaker on that end. Allen faced the Heat on Dec. 1, with the two key Heat players out in Miami, and scored 19 points. The Heat have been more vulnerable against good centers without Adebayo’s staunch defense.
