There are 8 games on the slate Monday night in the NBA. Three games have a spread of at least 6 points or more and the rest are 4 points or lower. Only 3 games have a total of 223 points or higher. As always, stay up date on the latest injury news since lines can change. Bets may be added throughout the day if there are additional spots that arise, so be sure to check back later in the day. The plays on Friday went 2-0 and are 10-3 for the season.

Here are my picks for tonight:

New Orleans Pelicans (+8.5) at Dallas Mavericks

Dallas is 6-3 and playing well, but they have a negative point differential. In their 6 wins, they have won by more than 9 points only once. Their last 4 wins have been by 3, 1, 6 and 5 points. The Pelicans have been awful without Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram has missed 4 straight games with a hip injury and is listed as questionable. The Pelicans are 4-5 ATS and the Mavericks are just 2-7. Dallas is 2-8 ATS in its last 10 games against a team with a losing road record and 1-8 ATS in their last 9 home games. The Pelicans were competitive with Ingram on the floor and it’s difficult to trust Dallas giving this many points.

Jaren Jackson Jr. over 5.5 rebounds (-110 on DraftKings)

Jackson is 6ft 11in and averaging only 5.8 rebounds per game. Foul trouble limits his minutes at times, but Jackson has 3 or fewer fouls in 3 of his last 4 games. Jackson had 9 rebounds in 25 minutes against the Wizards on Friday and 8 rebounds in 30 minutes in the previous game against Denver. Jackson has topped this total in 5 of 9 games. This is a great matchup for Jackson since Minnesota allows 59.4 rebounds per game, the most in the NBA.

DeMar DeRozan over 22.5 points (-120 on DraftKings)

DeRozan is averaging 26.8 points per game on the season. He has scored 32, 37, 37 and 25 points over the last 4 games. He has taken at least 20 shots from the field in 3 of the last 4 games. DeRozan has gone over this total in 6 of 9 games. He is shooting 50.3% from the field and 87.1% from the free-throw line and has attempted at least 9 free throws in 5 of 9 games.
