The remaining semifinal spots at the Australian Open will be handed out on Wednesday. A couple of blockbuster matchups are in the cards, including Jannik Sinner vs Ben Shelton and Iga Swiatek vs Elena Rybakina.
I’m on a 7-2 run after going 3-0 on Monday, so let’s keep the momentum going! Here are my best bets on the Day 11 schedule at Melbourne Park.

Novak Djokovic -1.5 sets over Lorenzo Musetti (-138)
Tales of Djokovic’s demise are greatly exaggerated. The 38-year-old may be past his prime, but he is still the #4 player in the world and a force at Grand Slams. Djokovic is not necessarily motivated anywhere else, but at slams he is certainly putting everything on the line day in and day out. The 24-time major champion reached the semifinals at all 4 last season and is back in the Australian Open quarters without losing a single set. Djokovic also got a walkover from an injured Jakub Mensik on Monday, so he is extremely well rested heading into this match. The world #4 owns almost all of his opponents and Musetti is no exception. It‘s 9-1 in Djokovic’s favor and he has won 6 straight since Musetti’s lone victory came at the 2023 Monte-Carlo Masters (4-6, 7-5, 6-4). Djokovic is a perfect 4-0 against the Italian on hard courts and dominated their 2 previous outdoor hard-court matches (6-3, 6-3 at the 2022 Dubai tournament and 6-2, 6-2 at the 2025 Miami Masters).
Amanda Anisimova ML over Jessica Pegula (-127)
There is no need to be alarmed by Anisimova’s 0-3 record in the head-to-head series with her fellow American. Of those 3 encounters, 2 went 3 sets – including 1 to a final-set tiebreaker. More importantly, they all came before 2025 – which is when Anisimova really became the player she is today. The 24-year-old climbed to #4 in the world thanks in part to runner-up performances at each of the past 2 slams (Wimbledon and the U.S. Open). Anisimova now finds herself in another major quarterfinal having not lost a single set despite playing well below her best level. Just imagine when she actually starts playing well! If Anisimova plays well on Wednesday, there won’t be anything Pegula can do. That’s because Anisimova wields far more firepower, so this match will be entirely on her racket.

Ben Shelton +6.5 games over Jannik Sinner (-105)
There’s nothing bad to say about Sinner – other than his third-round scare in which he was dealing with hand and leg cramps in extreme heat before the roof was closed to give him second life. So let’s focus on Shelton. It’s always scary to bet against the American at a Grand Slam, especially as a huge underdog. He simply loves the big stage. At only 23 years old, Shelton is already a 2-time major semifinalist (including 12 months ago at Melbourne Park) and has reached the quarters of 2 other slams (including the 2023 Aussie Open). The former NCAA singles champion at Florida is 15-3 all time at this tournament following a quartet of dominant wins earlier this fortnight. Shelton has a good chance to take a set on Wednesday – and even if he loses in straights, he can still cover a +6.5 spread. After all, the world #7 is one of the biggest servers on tour. At least a tiebreaker or 2 should be expected. Although Shelton is 1-8 lifetime against Sinner, 8 of their 9 meetings have produced a tiebreaker.
