For the 2nd consecutive day, only 1 team has let down my NBA mega parlay. I am hoping to have that extra bit of luck on my side with Tuesday’s games. A total of 10 teams are in action and the game of the night is in Minnesota, where the Timberwolves will square off with the Nuggets.

You can read our NBA picks for today’s big games, but for now let’s dive into my NBA mega parlay!

Hornets vs Magic Under 202.5 (-112)

Pelicans -7.5 (-112)

Timberwolves ML (+230)

NBA parlay odds: +1082

Charlotte Hornets vs Orlando Magic Under 202.5 (-112)

The Magic have been one of the stingiest defenses in the NBA this season, allowing just 109.3 points per game — which ranks 3rd in the league. They have really clamped down recently, holding opponents to 111 or fewer points in each of their last 5 contests. On the other side, the undermanned Hornets have struggled to generate consistent offense. Without lead playmaker LaMelo Ball for most of the year, Charlotte ranks just 20th in pace and 29th in scoring at 106.8 points per game.

These 2 teams have met twice already this season, with the under cashing both times — including a 101-89 Magic win on March 5. Orlando dominated that game defensively, forcing 18 Charlotte turnovers while holding the Hornets to just 38% shooting. With the Magic playing lockdown defense and the Hornets lacking firepower, this game lines up perfectly to stay under the projected 203 point total.

New Orleans Pelicans -7.5 over Brooklyn Nets (-112)

The Pelicans have a great opportunity to win a 3rd game in a row as they take on the slumping Nets, a team they have already beaten 112-85 earlier this season. New Orleans has been one of the more pleasant surprises since the all-star break and is holding a firm grip over the 5th seed in the West. This team has covered in 5 of 7 games, in their last 14 games played in March the Pelicans are 11-2-1 ATS. Against Atlantic Division teams they are 8-1 SU in their last 9 games.

The Brooklyn Nets have been a wreck for a while now; in their last 6 games they are just 1-5 SU/ATS. They are stuck pretty much in no man’s land with their 26-42 SU record, the 10th-seeded Hawks are 4 games ahead of them. Ben Simmons is done for the season, while Dorian Finney-Smith is questionable to play with an ankle issue. The Nets are only 2-6 SU in their last 8 against West opponents. I have a lot of faith in the Pelicans. Zion Williamson is averaging 23 points on almost 60% from the field in his last 10 games; I think he will be a handful to stop for the Nets on Tuesday. I’m going with the Pels to cover.

Minnesota Timberwolves ML over Denver Nuggets (+230)

In what could be the toughest test of their season so far, the Minnesota Timberwolves host the defending champions just a night following their 114-104 win over the Utah Jazz. Anthony Edwards was once again spectacular; he finished with 32 points and 8 assists, delivering a few highlight plays along the way. Rudy Gobert didn’t play against his former team, he has been upgraded to questionable, so there is a chance the Timberwolves get extra help.

Denver suffered a heartbreaking loss at the hands of Dallas over the weekend. Kyrie Irving made a spectacular shot at the buzzer to beat the Nuggets, ending a 5-game losing streak. As good as the Nuggets have been this year, they seem to struggle to cover in this matchup. Over the last 13 meetings they have done so only 4 times, while in the last 6 encounters at Target Center they are only 1-5 ATS. The Timberwolves also won the first meeting of the season 110-89, and playing at home could give them the edge. I’ll take Ant Man and company to win outright.
