Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write my plays up for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief writeups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!

I pride myself in being as transparent as they come. My NBA record from last season and this season are listed in my bio alongside my MLB record. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

Kevon Looney (GSW) over 15.5 points + rebounds (-120)

Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Looney played solid ball in Game 1. In 25 minutes, he scored 4 points and secured 9 rebounds. He missed some easy layups that should fall tonight. Coach Kerr should look to give him some more time instead of going to a small-ball lineup.

With Robert Williams looking more healthy, Looney is assigned to guard him underneath. He had 14 rebounding chances in Game 1 and benefited from not having to guard Al Horford on the 3-point line.

Looney is over this line in 4 of 7 playoff games when seeing at least 20 minutes. I trust Steve Kerr to utilize him on offense as well.
