Michael Porter Jr (DEN) over 15.5 points (-105)

Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Michael Porter has a skill set that is unmatched in this Denver Nuggets squad. He plays the perfect role alongside Nikola Jokic and has been money for NBA prop bettors this season when Jokic plays. In 48 games played with the back-to-back MVP, Porter is averaging 17 points per game and shooting close to 50% from the field.

Porter and the Nuggets faced off against the Nets last Sunday in Denver which resulted in a Nets victory. Porter started the game fast as he scored 9 points in the opening frame and crashed the glass hard. The 6’10” forward finished with 23 points and knocked down 3 shots from downtown.

The Nuggets played the Knicks earlier yesterday and suffered another loss. Porter scored only 11 points on 10 field-goal attempts. Expect him to look for his shot today and jump-start the Nuggets offense on the second leg of a back-to-back. He has scored at least 16 points in 6 of 7 games on 0 days of rest and has gone over this line in 33 of 54 games this season.

Porter ladder: 20+ points +240 (FanDuel)

Killiam Hayes (DET) under 3.5 first-quarter points (-115)

Line available at Caesars Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Killiam Hayes, a 2020 top-10 draft pick from France, has not had a great start to his career. Hayes has yet to register a season shooting above 40% and is a below 30% 3-point shooter. The Pistons will again find themselves with a top-3 pick in this year’s draft and Hayes’ tenure as a Detroit Piston could be coming to an end.

Here we are again attacking a first-quarter player prop. This time it’s Hayes’ first-quarter points under. The Pistons will be returning starters Marvin Bagley and Isaiah Livers to the lineup and Hayes could very well find his first-quarter volume shrinks. In his last 10 games he has gone under this line 7 times. He could play at least 9 minutes in the opening frame, though, and as he needs only 2 buckets for the over, this will be a sweat.

Jrue Holiday (MIL) over 11.5 rebounds + assists (-110)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Jrue Holiday has rich history against the Toronto Raptors that can’t be ignored. As a member of the Bucks, Holiday has cashed this line in all 4 games against the Raptors and 5 straight dating back to his days in New Orleans. However, these numbers are a bit skewed since Giannis Antetokounmpo missed 3 of those games. Toronto has a knack for doing all it can to contain the opposing team’s best player. Double teams are nothing new for Antetokounmpo and Holiday will be in line for another 15+ potential assists come tonight.

Holiday averages 7 assists per game with Antetokounmpo in the lineup along with 5.2 rebounds. He has gone over this line in 62% of games this season and what presumes to be a good quality game, Holiday should play at least 32 minutes tonight, and when he does that he has gone over in 28 of 42 games. The Philadelphia 76ers and their 8-game winning streak are climbing the Eastern Conference standings and eyeing up the #1 seed. Expect Holiday to handle the offense and pressure of the Raptors lengthy defense.
