I've been a capper since my love for sports met my proficiency with numbers and math. The NFL and NCAAF have always been my first loves, followed by the NHL. Although I prefer sports that involve hitting people, I still love capping MLB, soccer, tennis, and even some esports. Living in Florida has its perks like year-round sports of any kind. The NHL is wasting no time getting off to an incredible start to a new week with tonight’s 6-game slate. It may not be another night with the entire league in action, but some of the games we have are the best we could ask for. In fact, it’s 2 of the first puck-drops that feature true Stanley Cup contenders, and we’re targeting both of them in our NHL parlay picks for today. With that in mind, let’s get right into things. Along with our NHL mega parlay, be sure to check out all of our NHL predictions for today’s action!

NHL Parlay Picks (3/4)

Panthers vs Rangers Under 6 (-110)

Bruins 3-way ML (+170)

Golden Knights -1.5 (+125)

NHL parlay odds: +1059

Florida Panthers vs New York Rangers Under 6 (-110)

Each of the 2 marquee matchups of the night are Eastern Conference clashes, one of which will be at Madison Square Garden with the New York Rangers hosting the Florida Panthers. It’s quite a difference for the Panthers in terms of their home in South Beach but fading them has not been profitable as of late. The same holds just as true for the Rangers, as they are 8-1-1 in their last 10 games. With Florida 9-1-0 in their last 10 contests, it should seem more understandable why we’re focused on the over/under instead.

The Panthers were known for their high-flying offense the past 2 seasons, but it’s been goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky carrying the team this year. Because of that, Florida has the NHL’s 2nd-best record in terms of staying under the total. As for the Rangers, they speak for themselves at this point, as they’ve been red-hot on defense since goalie Igor Shesterkin won the Vezina Trophy 2 seasons ago. He’s been back in form recently, so we’re starting our NHL parlay picks for today with a low-scoring game at MSG.

Boston Bruins 3-way ML over Toronto Maple Leafs (+170)

The other premier game tonight is an Atlantic Division rivalry between the 2 teams competing with the Panthers. Of course, we all know about the Bruins’ record-setting season last year, and as for the Leafs, Auston Matthews is having a historical season himself. He’s still on pace for over 70 goals, which is incredible, but can he keep that pace going against an elite goaltending team in Boston? Even if he is able to find the back of the net, we love the value that we’re getting on the Bruins tonight.

It’s not often that we get plus-money odds for any of Boston’s markets, and they have proven that as star-studded as Toronto is, the Bruins are not intimidated by anyone. They have been the Leafs’ kryptonite, having defeated them in 5 straight meetings now. Better yet, the most recent of those victories also came on the road in Toronto. Admittedly, the Leafs’ goaltending has improved after being their weak point for several seasons, but again, Boston has proven that they can still get the job done. We’re looking for them to make it 6 straight wins against Toronto to help boost our NHL parlay picks for today.

Vegas Golden Knights -1.5 over Columbus Blue Jackets (+125)

The final leg of our NHL parlay picks is quite the opposite of the games we just went through. This is a matchup of the defending Stanley Cup champions and arguably the worst team in the NHL over the past 2 seasons. Even if it’s just the worst in the Eastern Conference, the Jackets have simply not been competitive for quite some time now. They likely have their confidence a bit higher than it should be coming off a win, but that came against the Chicago Blackhawks. A win is a win, but the ‘Hawks are one of just 2 teams with fewer wins than Columbus.

In other words, taking on the Golden Knights is a completely different beast. That was proven when these teams last took the ice against one another, which was a convincing 7-2 Vegas victory. It’s also worth noting that despite being the defending champs, the Knights have work to do the remainder of the year in terms of solidifying a playoff spot, and preferably, avoiding needing to be a Wild Card team. Along with it simply being a mismatch overall, closing out our NHL parlay picks for today is Vegas in a multi-goal win.
