We’ve got a two-game slate for Tuesday’s NHL card, but there are still plenty of opportunities to find some value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.

Auston Matthews Over 4 Shots on Goal (-124)

Toronto will look to make it back to back wins tonight after beating Montreal on Monday by a score of 2-1. It was a nail-biting win, but the Maple Leafs can now really take control of this series tonight. On Monday, we went with Auston Matthews to have a multi-point game, or even just to score one point. However, he was held scoreless for the second time in this series. The last time Matthews was held scoreless (Game 1), he responded with three points in Game 2. Maybe that is the trend for him right now, which is why we are going back to Matthews here.

Though this time, we are going to back his shots on goal prop because that has been consistent this series. He had eight shots on goal in Game 1, four in Game 2 and six last night in Game 3. That is an average of six shots on goal per game. With his prop sitting at four at a decent price, we will back this prop tonight.

Sebastian Aho Over 3 Shots on Goal (-112)

A crucial Game 5 here tonight as both teams will be looking to be one game away from advancing. The Predators have won two games in a row, but the Hurricanes will be back in front of their home fans tonight. Here we are going to go with Sebastian Aho, who has played very well in this series. He has five points over the four games, however, we are going to back him to have shots on goal here. Aho has crushed his shots on goal prop in every game this series. He is averaging 5.75 shots on goal per game against the Predators and we do not believe they will be able to slow him down. At the very least, asking Aho to have just three shots on goal seems reasonable, therefore a short price, this prop will be our top play.

Be sure to check out our full game preview for Nashville Predators vs. Carolina Hurricanes.
