Troy Terry over 0.5 points (+105)

The Anaheim Ducks appear to be taking a step forward in their rebuild so far on the young season.  A big reason for that has been the contributions from Troy Terry.  The 24-year-old forward is coming into his own on Anaheim’s first line.  Terry has registered 12 points (7 goals, 5 assists) through 10 games, and he is riding a 9-game point streak.  In addition, he has scored 5 goals over his last 4 games.   His line mates are also getting in on the action.  Ryan Getzlaf has 10 points (one goal, 9 assists) in 11 games, while Adam Henrique has collected 9 points (4 goals, 5 assists) in 11 games.  Anaheim’s top line is playing with a ton of chemistry and plenty of chemistry, and tonight they face the NHL’s worst team.

The Arizona Coyotes have a record of 0-9-1.  They are allowing a league-high 4.10 goals per game.  They are also the worst team in the league in terms of killing penalties, and Terry gets plenty of power play time.  This is shaping up to be a big night for the Anaheim offense, and Terry figures to be right in the middle of it.  There seems to be a solid chance that he extends his point streak to 10 games.

Anze Kopitar over 2.5 shots (+115)

Line available at DraftKings at time of publishing

After scoring 6 goals in the first 4 games of the season, Anze Kopitar has found the back of the net just once over his last 6 games.  However, it’s not for a lack of trying.  Kopitar has put 32 shots on goal through 10 games, for an average of 3.2 shots per game.  He has put 4 shots on goal in each of his last 3 games, so getting 3+ tonight seems attainable.  The Kings face the Devils in Los Angeles tonight, and it’s not like New Jersey is a stout defensive team.  The Devils have struggled killing penalties, ranking 26th in the league in that category.  Kopitar centers Los Angeles’ top power play unit, so he should be looking to lead a strong offensive night when the opportunities come.  Look for Los Angeles to be aggressive from the opening puck drop, while the intensity gets turned up a notch on the man advantage.  The Kings have won 3 games in a row, and Kopitar figures to play a big part in tonight’s game if they want to make it 4 straight.
