Fridays are better with action. That’s just a fact. Tonight, the NBA is granting us two opportunities to get down. Not only can we get down, but we can also watch our bets play out like some sort of magic show because ESPN is showing both games. First at 7.30pm ET, we’re getting the Philadelphia 76ers and Atlanta Hawks. When they wrap up, we’ll see the Denver Nuggets host the Phoenix Suns. This slate has NBA player props written all over it.

I like to bet plus-money on all my bets but especially my NBA player props. It’s just smart. If I bet two and happen to lose one, I still make money. It’s like magic, only real and I like it. FanDuel gives us a chance to do it every night with their alt lines. I use them every night.
Tonight feels like a good time to attack Ben Simmons’ assists prop. Instead of going with the 7.5 at -122, I am rolling with the 8.5 at +138. In his last three games, he’s crossed this number twice. In the one he missed he still recorded seven dimes. Danny Green somehow ended with eight assists which is the most he’s had in a game all season. It was flukey at best.
Simmons is a facilitator and he has a weapon in Joel Embiid that the Hawks can’t stop. He ended Game 2 with only 10 potential assists after posting 15 in Game 1. If he is close to 15 again tonight, then posting nine dimes shouldn’t be an issue. Especially when you consider that feeding Embiid in the post can lead to easy buckets.
This is one of my favorite NBA player props tonight.

Facundo Campazzo over 4.5 assists (+118)

The theme of this post is assists and I am staying with it here. People helping people is not only fun to say, it’s also fun to bet. The beauty is, we don’t even need an alt line for this one. We’re still getting plus money over here.
Campazzo had plenty of chances for assists in Game 2 but the Nuggets just missed shots. They were terrible. He ended the night with nine potential assists but only posted two in the final box score. Yikes.
The thing is, we should be chasing volume and we’re still getting it here. Campazzo has gone eight straight games with five or more assists when he plays more than 30 minutes. It should be noted that he played 29 minutes the other night and only got two but still. I’m confident that Denver’s role players will step up tonight and if they do, Campazzo will dish out at least five assists.
Given the matchup and situation, this is another one of my favorite NBA player props tonight.
