There is just one game tonight for the NHL playoffs. Nathan MacKinnon over 4.5 shots (-133)
After one of the most memorable single-game performances of recent memory, Nathan MacKinnon and the Colorado Avalanche lost in overtime. MacKinnon finished with a hat-trick and an assist with 6 shots on goal, and the Avs still came up short. With only two more chances to close out the series against the St. Louis Blues, expect MacKinnon to be on top of his game once again. He was a man on a mission, and if not for a goal allowed in the final minute of regulation, the Avs would have already punched their ticket to the Conference Finals. Now, unfortunately for Colorado, all of the pressure is on them for tonight as the Blues have home-ice advantage and will have a rowdy crowd behind them trying to force a Game 7.
While MacKinnon may not record a hat-trick here tonight, he needs to play tonight with the same hunger and be that difference-maker for his team. Look at McDavid last night for the Edmonton Oilers, your top players need to take over in big moments in order to secure a series. After 3 goals on 6 shots, you know MacKinnon will enter tonight’s game shooting the puck every chance he gets. He proved to be too much for Blues goaltender Ville Husso last game, and he’ll be trying his best to shake him again tonight. Take MacKinnon to record over 4.5 shots, he needs another big night in order to bring his team to the next level.
