There are 10 games for Tuesday’s NHL slate, we’re going to take a deeper dive into three of the matchups and choose three player props we think will provide good value and have a great chance of hitting. Games are starting at 7:00 pm ET and the final game of the night starts at 10:00pm ET. All of our props tonight will involve a player tallying points, there’s a lot of value on the board today. It’s a big slate tonight, make sure you’re tuned in.

Aleksander Barkov over 0.5 points (-118)

After signing his big ticket of 10 million a year, Barkov is living up to his contract. Through three games he’s tallied five points and they’ve been against some of last seasons best teams; the Pittsburgh Penguins, Tampa Bay Lightning, and the New York Islanders. The Colorado Avalanche are a tough team too, but Florida’s offense is clicking on all cylinders right now averaging 4.67 goals per game; they’ve scored 14 goals in three games to start the season, and Barkov is their leading scorer.

This should be a great return for bettors on what we think could be an undervalued play. Barkov is averaging 22:24 minutes of time on ice, the most of any forward on the Panthers, including 4:06 minutes of powerplay time. His shooting percentage is currently at 40% with two goals on six shots. Take Barkov to get a point in this one.

Zach Werenski over 0.5 points (-118)

Zach Weresnki has had a great start to the season this year with three points through three games. He’s their highest-paid player and arguably the most important player for this Blue Jackets core, when he’s producing the team has a chance to win. They’re going up against a New York Islanders team that’s been extremely slow out of the gate going 1-2-0 and allowing 12 goals through three games. The Jackets have averaged 3.67 goals per game and most of that can be contributed to their powerplay unit that’s currently operating at 42.9%. Zach is the quarterback on that powerplay, and if they can have another good game offensively, he’ll most likely play a large part. Take Werenski to get a point tonight.

Leon Draisaitl over 1.5 points (+110)

Draisaitl is currently tied for the league lead in points with eight points in three games. With two goals and six assists, he hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down and he’s averaging 24:37 minutes of time on ice, even more than his teammate Connor McDavid. The best dynamic duo in the league have totaled 16 points through three games, and they’re about to play the worst team in the league tonight; the Arizona Coyotes.

The Yotes have allowed 17 goals in three games, that’s an average of 5.33 goals against per game. They have nobody that can match up with either McDavid or Draisaitl, and they’re going to have to go up against both of them… It’s not a good sign for Coyotes fans tonight, but it’s a great sign for anyone who can get +110 odds for Draisaitl to get two points (when he’s currently averaging 2.6 points per game). If bettors are feeling riskier, some sportsbooks are offering over 2.5 points for Draisaitl at +400 odds. As for our best bet though, we’re advising you to take over 1.5 points tonight for Leon.
