There are 9 NHL games tonight, and we’re going to take a deeper dive into 2 of the matchups and choose some player props we think will provide good value and will have a great chance of hitting. The action starts at 7:00 pm ET with the final game of the night at 9:00 pm ET.
Along with our player props, be sure to check out our full game previews for tonight’s matchups.
Sebastian Aho over 0.5 goals (+150)
Sebastian Aho is on a 2-game goal streak and has 3 goals in his last 5 games. He’s on a 7-game point streak, so he’s been feeling it lately. His run should continue tonight against a divisional rival. An important two points is up for grabs and the Hurricanes will need a big night from their top line, which has been playing extremely well. The Capitals are on a 3-game losing streak and have allowed 3.1 goals in their last 10 games. They haven’t been playing the best hockey, and the Hurricanes are a team that can take advantage of that. At +150 bettors are getting incredible value for Aho to record a goal. He’s consistent every night and is on one of the longest point streaks in the league. Take Aho to extend his goal streak to 3 games.

Elias Pettersson over 0.5 points (-125)
Elias Pettersson has looked like a completely different player since the head coaching change in Vancouver, and is starting to get back to his old self. He has 14 points in his last 9 games, with 6 goals. He’s been playing his best hockey of the season, and at -125 to score a point, bettors are still getting great odds for a player who has been playing as well as he has. In Pettersson’s last game against the Islanders, he recorded a goal on 4 shots. After a 6-3 loss to NYI in February, the Canucks will be looking for some revenge. Expect Pettersson to excel. Vancouver is back in a playoff race, and they’ll need their best players to step up if they expect to win. Take Pettersson to record over 0.5 points.
