Just like that, we’re approaching the home stretch of conference play, and we have a sizable and solid college hoops slate on Tuesday. What better way to celebrate than by going for a big payday? That’s right, we’re back with another mega parlay, college basketball edition. We just hit our college basketball mega parlay a few days ago on Saturday at +1034, now let’s do it again!

We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every big NCAAB game.

Boston College ML (+315)

California ML (+168)

Parlay odds: +1012

Let’s break down each of the two legs one by one.

Boston College ML (+315) over Virginia

Give me Boston College to start off this mega parlay. I’m not sure what Virginia has done to warrant being this large of a favorite. The Cavaliers are barely a top 100 team at the moment according to Kenpom. Virginia has been a huge disappointment this season, and the extremely slow tempo they play at ensures their games have higher variance and leaves them very prone to upsets.

They’re exactly the kind of team you want to target when looking to back a money line underdog. The Cavaliers already have 9 losses this season, and have lost plenty of games to supposedly inferior teams. I mean this is a team that lost to James Madison (currently 225th on Kenpom) during non-conference play. Boston College has flashed some upside, and it was only a few games ago that they upset a Virginia Tech team that’s a whole lot better than Virginia.

California ML (+168) over Stanford

To wrap this mega parlay up and hopefully bring us home, we’re looking to the Pac-12. Stanford certainly hasn’t looked too impressive at 12-7, and it appears they’re very fortunate just to have that mark. The Cardinal rank 6th in Kenpom’s luck factor, meaning they’re the sixth-luckiest team in all of college basketball. They’ve lost a lot of games by lopsided margins, and are coming off a 23-point beatdown at the hands of UCLA.

Stanford only scored 43 points in that one, and they’ve been held to 64 or fewer in five of their past six despite the fact that they don’t play at a particularly slow pace or anything. Each of their last six wins have come by six points or fewer. That’s not sustainable, and shows they’re due for some regression. Cal is better than their record suggests, and in their most recent game they came really close to beating an elite USC team on the road.
