It’s another NFL Sunday, but there is also plenty of NBA and NHL action on offer. A total of 13 games are taking place across those two leagues—7 on the hardwood and 6 on the ice. As for the late afternoon football schedule, it includes Aaron Rodgers’ return for Green Bay.

Let’s take a look at where the public money has gone so far on Sunday.

NFL: Green Bay Packers -3 over Seattle Seahawks

Rodgers is back from his one-week Covid-19 hiatus, so it only makes sense that the public is putting its faith in Green Bay. The Packers are being backed by 71 percent of the money and 67 percent of the bets to cover the -3 spread. On the -160 money line, Green Bay is drawing 64 percent of the handle and 62 percent of the wagers to pick up an outright win.

NFL: Arizona Cardinals ML over Carolina Panthers

The quarterback news is not as good for the Cardinals, who will be without Kyler Murray when they host Carolina. In fact, DeAndre Hopkins is also sidelined. Nonetheless, punters are putting their faith in several Arizona backups. The home team is still brining in 89 percent of the handle and 91 percent of the wagers on the -300 money line.

NFL: Minnesota Vikings vs Los Angeles Chargers Over 53

When it comes to game totals, the public’s most confident play is on the over in this showdown between Minnesota and Los Angeles. Bettors are hoping for more than 53 points to the tune of 86 percent of the money and 56 percent of the bets. They don’t feel as good about any particular play on either side, although the Chargers are getting a modest 58 percent of the wagers to cover a -3.5 spread and 60 percent of them to win outright on the -180 money line.

NBA: Golden State Warriors -5 over Charlotte Hornets

Nobody is hotter than Golden State to begin the season. At 11-1, the Warriors have at least a 2-game lead over everyone else in the entire NBA standings. Stephen Curry returns to his Charlotte stomping grounds on Sunday for a date with the Hornets, who are an even 7-7. It’s no surprise that bettors are hammering Golden State, which is inspiring 96 percent of the handle and 86 percent of the wagers on the -5 spread. The public will happily incur -200 juice on the money line, too, as 85 percent of the handle and 86 percent of the bets are going for an outright win by the vistors.

NHL: Boston Bruins -1.5 over Montreal Canadiens

Punters’ favorite play of the day in the NHL is on Boston to win by multiple goals over Montreal. A total of 93 percent of the money and 90 percent of the bets are backing the Bruins to cover the -1.5 puck line. The public isn’t scared off by -200 money line juice, either, as 97 percent of the handle and 96 percent of the wagers are hoping for a straight up win by Boston.
