MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers to win the World Series

Now that the wild-card games have come and gone and the traditional field of eight is set, it’s time to start looking at the big picture—you know, the World Series. The defending champion Dodgers are favored once again and the public certainly thinks they have a good chance of getting the job done.  Even though L.A. is a heavy +240 favorite, bettors are happy to throw their money at this juggernaut of a baseball team. The Dodgers are being backed by 18 percent of the handle and 24 percent of the wagers. No other team is inspiring more than 12 percent of the money or the bets (the White Sox at +750 are getting 12 percent in each department).
