We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Monday night; it includes action from the MLB, EPL, and NFL.

One pick is taken from each sport with a second pick coming from the MLB. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +1583 with DraftKings; that’s more than 15/1! Let’s break down each of these plays.

EPL: Crystal Palace vs Brighton – Over 2.5 goals (+125), 3pm ET

This rivalry has produced plenty of entertainment in recent years and 7 of the clubs’ last 8 league and cup meetings featured goals at both ends. Palace have come through a tricky set of early fixtures with some respectable results, picking up ties against Brentford and West Ham and beating 10-man Tottenham 3-0 at Selhurst Park. The Palace defense was breached 3 times in losses at Chelsea and Liverpool, however, and they may struggle to keep a confident Brighton side quiet.

Brighton won their first 2 road games, 2-1 at Burnley and 1-0 at Brentford, and scored 4 goals in home wins over Watford and Leicester, so they should be confident of troubling Palace. However, Conor Gallagher and Odsonne Edouard add some zest to the Eagles’ attack and an entertaining clash is expected.

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys – Under 51 points (-105), 8:15pm ET

The under is in play for this one as the Philadelphia offense may not be able to hold up their end of the bargain. Any time we see totals in the 50s, we want points out of both teams and it’s hard to imagine the Eagles offense will be able to get it done against the Dallas defense.

If they do, they’ll have to do it on the ground as Jalen Hurts just isn’t a guy who can handle teams through the air. We’re looking at a 27-20 type of game that approaches the over but doesn’t quite get there.

MLB: Washington Nationals vs Colorado Rockies -1.5 (-105), 8:40pm ET

Nationals starter Josiah Gray got his first MLB win in his last start. The prospect acquired from LA in the Max Scherzer/Trea Turner trade is going to be a part of their future, or so they hope. He did face Colorado when he was with the Dodgers. It was not at Coors Field and it was not a good start.

The Rockies are great at home and German Marquez has been a big part of it. He is 8-2 at Coors Field this season. Colorado is also 8-2 in Marquez’s last 10 starts. With the Rockies being at home and fielding their best starter, the run line looks to be a good play for this game.

MLB: Oakland Athletics vs Seattle Mariners ML (-115), 10:10pm ET

In tonight’s series-opener, the Athletics will send Cole Irvin to the mound. He will be opposed by Chris Flexen. Through 30 turns in the rotation in 2021, Irvin has a 3.99 ERA, 4.92 xERA, and a 4.15 FIP. However, he has struggled to a 5.82 ERA and 6.51 FIP in his last 7 starts. In that span, he is striking out only 13% of opposing batters against an 8% walk rate. Seattle’s lineup is not elite, but they should be able to generate some run-scoring opportunities in the early frames of this contest against Irvin.

Flexen has been a pleasant surprise for the Mariners this year with a 3.56 ERA, 4.32 xERA, and a 3.82 FIP across 169.1 innings of work. He has been even better when pitching at home, posting a 3.16 FIP and a 1.33 WHIP. In Flexen’s last 6 trips to the mound, he owns a 3.25 ERA and a 3.69 FIP. Bettors should expect a strong performance from him tonight against an Oakland lineup that ranks only 18th in OPS and 24th in ISO over the last 2 weeks. For that reason, Seattle looks to be the smart play for bettors in this one.
