We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Thursday, including picks from the MLB and NFL Preseason. Two picks are taken from each sport and a winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +1154 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Let’s break down each of these plays.

MLB: St. Louis Cardinals ML (-115) over Colorado Rockies, 3:10 pm ET

Milwaukee’s recent slump has allowed St. Louis to steal the top spot in the NL Central, and they should be able to fend them off with a win against the Rockies today. The Cardinals are also heading back to St. Louis for a weekend series against the Brew crew, making this game all the more important. The Rockies will start German Marquez on Thursday afternoon and while he has the ability to give them some solid innings, their bullpen is a huge flaw. For that reason, backing the Cardinals to end this series with a win will be the top play for Thursday afternoon.

NFL Preseason: New England Patriots +2.5 (-105) over New York Giants, 7:00 pm ET

Perhaps the most notable statistic to consider is that New England is 9-2 over the last 3 preseasons, including a perfect 3-0 mark last year. The Pats won those games by an average of more than 15 points and one of the victories came against none other than the G-Men (in New York). Although the Patriots lost this same matchup at home during the 2019 preseason, they were dominating that contest 29-10 before calling off the dogs. For that reason, taking the points with the Patriots will be the play for Thursday night.

MLB: Boston Red Sox ML (-125) over Baltimore Orioles, 7:10 pm ET

It may sound surprising given Boston will be starting rookie Josh Winckowski, but they have an opportunity to have the advantage on the mound. Baltimore’s rotation is not what they expected prior to the year, and have since added usual-reliever Austin Voth to the mix. With him likely only to pitch a couple of innings, that isn’t the best situation for Baltimore traveling into this game immediately following a tough series against the Blue Jays. Boston also has 3 of the American League leaders for doubles, and 3 hitters with over 50 RBIs. For all of their pitching woes, the Red Sox have a lineup that can lead the way to a win on Thursday.

NFL Preseason: Baltimore Ravens -3 (-110) over Tennessee Titans, 7:30 pm ET

The Baltimore Ravens are one of the league’s most dependable teams in the preseason. That’s what you get when backing one of the best coaches in football. John Harbaugh’s consistent preseason success is the stuff of legends at this point, as the longtime Ravens coach is 36-15-1 against the spread in his preseason career. Furthermore, the Ravens are undefeated in their last 20 preseason games under Harbaugh. He has not lost in the preseason since 2015, and I wouldn’t expect that to change on Thursday.
