We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Friday, including picks from the MLB, EPL, MLS and PLL. One pick is taken from each sport and a winning ticket would give us a nice payout with odds of +942 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Let’s break down each of these plays.

EPL: Crystal Palace vs Arsenal – Under 2.5 goals (-140), 3:00 pm ET

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta will expect his team to be tougher to break down with his first-choice defense available but Palace should also offer strong resistance, having enjoyed an excellent run of form at home late last season. The Eagles were unbeaten in their final 8 games at Selhurst Park last season, posting 6 shutouts during that run, so a bet on the game featuring fewer than 3 goals looks the safest play.

MLB: Philadelphia Phillies ML (-195) over Washington Nationals, 7:05 pm ET

Projected starters are right-hander Josiah Gray for the Nationals and right-hander Kyle Gibson for the Phillies. Gray is 7-7 in 19 starts with an ERA of 4.59. However, Gray was beat up in July, losing 3 of 5 starts with an ERA of 6.75 last month. Gibson, on the other hand, is 6-4 in 20 starts with an ERA of 4.60 ERA. Gibson’s July was better than Gray’s, where he posted an ERA of 4.94.

Offensively, there is a small edge to the Phillies as well. In the last 15 days, the Phillies rank higher than the Nationals in OPS and team average, where the Phillies rank 7th. With only 2 months left in the season and the Phillies tied with the Cardinals for the final wild-card spot, the Phillies cannot drop games to teams like the Nationals. Look for a focused Phillies team to jump all over a Nationals team whose season is all but over and place your bet on the Phillies money line.

PLL: Redwoods vs Cannons – Under 24.5 goals (-115), 9:00 pm ET

The Cannons have reached the over five times in seven games this year, the Redwoods four. However, 24.5 is a very high total — the highest of the weekend. Given the offensive frustrations faced at times by these teams, the lack of transition from the Redwoods and the strength of Nick Marrocco against the two-point shot, this game should stay under 24.5 goals.

MLS: Vancouver Whitecaps ML (+115) over Houston Dynamo, 10:30 pm ET

Vancouver is outside of the top 7 in the Western Conference, but the Whitecaps were crowned Canadian Championship winners last month following a shootout triumph over Toronto and they have lost only 1 of their last 5 matches in all competitions.

Houston on the other hand has not recorded a shutout in 7 MLS games and the Dynamo defense could once again be put to the test in this game with 7-goal Lucas Cavallini leading the charge for the Whitecaps, who look a great bet on the money line at BC Place.
