We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Friday, including picks from the EPL, MLB and College Football. One pick is taken from each sport with a second pick from the MLB. A winning ticket would give us a very nice payout with odds of +1094 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Let’s break down each of these plays.

EPL pick today: Aston Villa ML over Southampton (+110), 3:00 pm ET

Aston Villa was under huge pressure after a poor start to the EPL season but improved greatly to tie 1-1  with Manchester City at home. Steven Gerrard’s team can follow up that result by defeating Southampton today.

Southampton is a hard team to assess having produced a mixed bag of results, but the Saints have ongoing issues in defense having failed to record a shutout in 12 EPL games. They are struggling for consistency and could suffer another setback.

MLB pick today: Boston Red Sox -1.5 over Kansas City Royals (-105), 7:10 pm ET

The advantage in this game goes to the Red Sox and it lies with the starting pitchers. The Royals are projected to start Jonathan Heasley while the Red Sox will counter with Michael Wacha. The separation between these pitchers is highlighted by their last 7 starts. Heasley is 2-4 with an ERA of 6.75.

Compare that to Wacha’s last 7 starts, in which he’s a perfect 5-0 with an ERA of 3.24. Offensively, the Red Sox have the advantage as well, as they rank in the top 5 in most offensive categories over the last 15 days. Look for the Red Sox to start a winning streak against the Royals in dominant fashion.

MLB pick today: Atlanta Braves ML over Philadelphia Phillies (-190), 7:20 pm ET

Max Fried will earn the start for this series opener, and following an ERA of 2.64 in the first half of the season, the lefty has posted an ERA of 2.16 in the second half. In September, Fried has allowed 5 hits and 2 runs with 12 strikeouts in 11 innings, and both of those runs were solo home runs. Atlanta had a poor west-coast trip, but with a day off on Thursday, they have the advantage tonight. For that reason, backing the Braves on the money line will be the play.

College Football pick today: Florida State Seminoles -2.5 over Louisville Cardinals (-110), 7:30 pm ET

Florida State has looked very good in both its games this season. The Seminoles beat FCS Duquesne easily then won a close game against LSU. Florida State is also 4-1 against the spread in its last 5 games and should improve to 5-1 after this game. A good offense against an inconsistent team such as Louisville that is barely winning games should be enough to cover this spread.
