Horse Racing picks for Delaware Park race track on Thursday, November 3: These are Confirmed Genius picks

Swiss Skydiver wins the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Racetrack.

There is plenty of great horse racing across America on Thursday, including at Delaware Park race track. We have been on fire with our picks for a long time now and we are up +265.24 units with our race selections to our recommended stakes dating back to August 5, 2021. We went 3-for-3 on Wednesday for a profit +10. Let’s keep it rolling!

Here are our best bets for today’s action at Delaware Park.

2:30 pm Delaware Park (Race 5) – Mr. Walsh 3/1 (2-star play)

Race 5 at Delaware Park is a 5-furlong Claiming event on the dirt surface in which the Lawrence Smith trained Mr. Walsh can have a big say, as he is a 2-time winner in this grade and has been freshened up nicely since a lay off. At 4 years of age this gelding is the youngest (tied) horse in this field, so there could be room for further improvement and there’s no doubt he has the ability to win this.

3:00 pm Delaware Park (Race 6) – Confirmed Genius 9/2 (1-star play)

A field of seven fillies and mares who have not won since September 3rd go to post for this $26,000 Claimer and I like the filly in stall 5, Confirmed Genius, who was a convincing 3 and a quarter length winner at this level at Penn National last time out. This daughter of Weigelia, who himself was a stakes winner at this course, has won at a higher level and comes into this off the back of that comfortable win last time so it would not surprise should she back that up here.

3:30 pm Delaware Park (Race 7) – Vikram 10/1 (1-star play)

The penultimate contest at Delaware Park is a competitive $42,000 Allowance contest over a mile and a sixteenth on the dirt and one who can go well is one of the outsiders in this field, Vikram, who has only raced 9 times thus far and won his maiden over a mile at this course. He has finished down the field in hotter contests on his last 3 starts, so he will appreciate this easier task and I do feel that there is more to come as he is lightly-raced and recorded 2 good victories in Claiming company this Summer.

4:00 pm Delaware Park (Race 8) – Committed 8/5 (2-star play)

Bonnie Lucas’s Committed is likely to be a warm order in the finale at Delaware Park, but it’s clear to see why and he is the selection in this weak Maiden Claimer over the mile trip. He is a 15-race maiden but has been knocking on the door this season with form figures of 323 in June and July, and if you look back at some of his defeats the horses that have beaten him have gone on to do quite well and this looks an ideal opportunity to break his maiden under John Hiraldo.
