Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write my plays up for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief writeups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!
I pride myself on being as transparent as they come. My NBA record from last season and this season are listed in my bio alongside my MLB record. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for Friday.

LaMelo Ball has carried the Charlotte Hornets to their first playoff appearance in 5 years. Following a great rookie season, Ball has answered that with an even better sophomore campaign. He is averaging 20 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 7.6 assists.
Ball has not only excelled against his opponent tonight, the Chicago Bulls, but he has also played extremely well in back-to-backs. In 2 games against the Bulls this season, he has recorded 38 and 47 PRA. His 47-PRA performance in February consisted of scoring 33 points and a healthy Hornets lineup. The Bulls’ best perimeter defender, Alex Caruso, is questionable tonight. I do not expect him to exceed over 25 minutes even if he does play.
Ball has cashed this prop in 4 of his last 5 games and is coming off a 10-for-21 performance from the field. Look for the 2021 Rookie of the Year to end the regular season with a bang.
