Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write my plays up for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief writeups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!

I pride myself in being as transparent as they come. My NBA record from last season and this season are listed in my bio alongside my MLB record. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for Sunday.

Darius Garland (CLE) over 21.5 points (-110)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

The all-star point-guard looked phenomenal in a tough matchup against the 76ers on Friday night. Darius Garland scored 26 points and was 4 for 8 from behind the arc. He is playing with a ton of confidence especially without backcourt mates, Caris Levert, Collin Sexton, and Rajon Rondo.

In two games this season against the Toronto Raptors, Garland scored 21 and 22 points even with Sexton and Rubio in the lineup. The Raptors will also be without key players tonight and Garland should have mismatches’ off the dribble and off ball-screens. Toronto has struggled slowing down scoring point-guards since the all-star break. Rookies, Cade Cunningham and Jalen Suggs, both went over their scoring average.

Garland is over this line in 6 straight and I expect him to continue to lead the Cavaliers into better playoff positioning.

Rudy Gobert (UTA) over 27.5 points + rebounds (-105)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Rudy Gobert is in line for another NBA Defensive Player of the Year award. He is around -150 on most sportsbooks to go over 27.5 points + rebounds. Tonight I am targeting the over against the tanking Thunder.

Gobert failed to hit this prop last game due to the Jazz losing by 30+ points. Surely that won’t happen again tonight as Utah is a 13-point favorite. The first reaction by many is a blowout win is bound to occur. The Jazz have won 23 games by 10+ this season and Gobert was still able to cash this prop in 16 of them. He still sees around his season average of 30+ minutes in blowout wins. This includes a 21-point victory against the Thunder back in October when Gobert recorded 37 points and assists.

I expect the reigning NBA DPOY to dominate inside tonight and to crush this prop like he has in 71% of games this season.
