Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write my plays up for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief write-ups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!

I pride myself in being as transparent as they come. My NBA record from last season and this season are listed in my bio alongside my MLB record. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for Thursday.

Bruce Brown (BKN) over 17.5 points + rebounds + assists (-115)

Line available at BetMGM Sports at time of publishing.

After the James Harden trade, Bruce Brown has quietly been just what the Nets needed to surround Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. In the last 2 games that all 3 have played in, Brown averages 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists while shooting 12-for-18 from the field.

Brown is averaging over 30 minutes in his last 10 games and has been the Nets best perimeter defender. In a game that features a backcourt of Tyrese Maxey and James Harden, Brooklyn will lean on Brown to contain them as much as possible. When Brown plays at least 30 minutes this season, he is over this line in 9 of 13 and 6 straight.

Overall, he is over this line in 9 straight. I expect him to continue to be an integral part of the Nets’ offense and defense tonight against the current No. 2 seed Philadelphia 76ers.
