KBO picks and predictions

Tuesday’s five-game slate sees some of the league’s top pitchers take the mound, including former Miami Marlins starter Dan Straily. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

Lotte Giants Moneyline (-142)

Is anybody ready for another Straily victory? The Lotte Giants pitcher will kick off a new series against the very familiar LG Twins. Back in early June, Straily allowed only one earned run while striking out seven against the Twins. The 31-year old veteran has been the most consistent pitcher in the KBO this season, with nearly one-third of his starts resulting in scoreless outings. Straily is bound to have another successful outing–especially against the Twins, who have lately been an offensive mess. Scoring three runs in only eight of their last 19 games will not bold well for the Twins on Tuesday. Straily and the Giants are a must pick in our three-team parlay.

NC Dinos Moneyline (+102)

A considerable series kicks off on Tuesday morning with the first-place NC Dinos taking on third-placed Kiwoom Heroes. The Heroes are currently going through a bit of a rough patch, having lost three games in a row to the KIA Tigers. On the other hand, the Dinos have won three of their last five games. The Dinos will be sending out Jae-hak Lee in hopes of yet another successful outing against the Heroes. Lee has faced Kiwoom twice this year, going 1-1 with an ERA of 4.50. While this may not seem significant, he allowed just two runs to Kiwoom in both outings. The Heroes will counter with Jake Brigham, who is 0-1 on the season and has an ERA of 5.00. His last three starts have been shaky with 10 runs allowed in 14.2 innings. Brigham has not faced the NC Dinos this season, so I expect him to have some early struggles. Until the Dinos get stopped, do not fade them.

KT Wiz Moneyline (-215)

The Hanwha Eagles are taking on the KT Wiz at absolutely the wrong time. The Wiz are red hot to the tune of scoring 47 runs over the last six games. The dangerous lineup of the Wiz will have much success against right-hander Warwick Saupold. The Eagles starting pitcher has allowed 10 runs over his previous two starts and should be in another problematic situation on Tuesday. With over four days of rest due to postponed games, the Wiz should be well-rested and ready to lay another whopping on the Eagles.

For those of you looking for bigger returns, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +404.
