KBO picks and predictions

Thursday’s five-game slate sees some of the league’s top pitchers take the mound, including former Miami Marlins starter Drew Rucinski. Let’s dive into the day’s best bets.

LG Twins Moneyline (-188)

The LG Twins once again continue to win on the road entering this Thursday’s contest with a blowout victory on Wednesday. They are scoring nearly six runs per road game this season which is far better than the Giants 4.89 runs per game at home. To add even more certainty the Twins can once again claim glory on Thursday, Chan-Heon Jung will get the ball to kick off the game. The 30-year-old has been the cornerstone of the Twins’ recent success going 6-0 in his last six starts. On the flip side, the Giants are starting Won-Sam Jang, who has yet to record a victory with a dreadful 7.59 ERA over his last six starts. Give me the Twins.

NC Dinos -1.5 Run Line (-116)

We have two fantastic pitchers squaring off in this game, starting with Drew Rucinski for the NC Dinos. He is 8-1 on the season and has posted an ERA of 2.24. He has racked up four wins in a row, where he allowed a total of four runs over 26.0 innings. He has not allowed more than five runs this season and has gone 10 consecutive starts without allowing more than three runs. The Heroes will send Sung-Hyun Moon to the mound, making his second start of the season. He has a record of 1-0 this season with an ERA of 1.46. He has mainly been a relief pitcher, so he is not used to going deep into games. His lone start saw him pitch 3.0 innings. While both pitchers have had success, Rucinski is a much more experienced starting pitcher and should be able to get the Dinos back into the win column. With his last loss coming over one month ago, I trust Rucinski on Thursday.

Lions vs. Tigers Over 10.5 total runs (-122)

The Kia Tigers and the Samsung Lions square off on Thursday in a must-watch rubber match. Both teams should be able to score plenty of runs in this contest, especially the Lions. Samsung will be going up against the 19-year-old Tigers pitcher Hyun Jong Yang, who has yet to have a quality start this season. Yang currently has more walks than strikeouts for the 2020 season. Back on June 21, he allowed eight runs to the Lions. It will take a while for this young pitcher to find his groove. Until then, the Over will always be an intriguing option when Yang is pitching. After allowing 21 runs over his last four starts, Yang will surely do his job helping the Over cash on Thursday.

For those of you looking for bigger returns, play the best bets as a three-team parlay, which pays +419.
