MLB Saturday three-team mega parlay (+857 odds): Dodgers welcome back Marcus Stroman

Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith (right) celebrates with second baseman Hanser Alberto (17), right fielder Mookie Betts (50), left fielder Gavin Lux (9) and first baseman Freddie Freeman (5) after hitting a walk off RBI single to defeat the Chicago Cubs in the 10th inning at Dodger Stadium.

We have a loaded slate of 15 MLB games today including some big matchups like the Yankees-Red Sox, Phillies-Cardinals, and Blue Jays-Mariners. With the big slate that we have tonight, we were able to come up with a +857 mega parlay for tonight’s action.

Before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every MLB game today. Let’s get into our mega parlay for today.

Braves alternate run line -2.5 (+118)

Blue Jays/Mariners under 7.5 runs (-110)

Dodgers alternate run line -2.5 (+130)

Parlay odds: +857

For this parlay we are going with two favorites on the alternate run line and one game totals pick. Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Atlanta Braves -2.5 over Washington Nationals (+118)

Don’t let his last two outings fool you, Patrick Corbin is still one of the worst pitchers in baseball. Corbin comes into this matchup with a 5.68 ERA and a 5.85 xERA through 88.2 innings but found success in his last two starts. He has completed 15 innings and allowed 2 runs on 13 hits in those recent outings. However, a massive disclaimer about those two starts is they were against the Pirates and Marlins. That’s important to note because Pittsburgh and Miami rank 27th and 29th in OPS against left-handed pitching while Atlanta ranks 3rd.

The Braves will start Kyle Wright who has a sub-three ERA and has been a star this season. Atlanta has won 6 of his last 7 starts, and 3 of those wins have come by 3 or more runs. Their offense woke up last night as they exploded for 12 runs against the Nationals and should put up another softball score tonight against Corbin.

Toronto Blue Jays vs Seattle Mariners under 7.5 runs (-110)

Robbie Ray had a mediocre start to the season, but he’s back to his Cy Young form. In his last 5 starts, he has a 0.80 ERA in 33.2 innings and has surrendered just 15 hits in that span. The lefty also has 40 strikeouts during those last 5 starts and has been unhittable in the last few weeks. Ray’s last 5 starts have seen some low scoring games as the Mariners average 2.8 runs while opponents average 1 run per game.

Alek Manoah has blossomed into the ace of the Toronto pitching staff. The 24-year-old has a 2.33 ERA with a 2.87 xERA through 100.1 innings and will take on a Mariners offense that has not been great against right-handed pitching. Seattle ranks 17th in OPS and 19th in slugging percentage against righty pitching this season and now take on one of the best right-handers in baseball. This game should stay far below the total of 7.5 as two excellent pitchers take the mound on Saturday night.

Los Angeles Dodgers -2.5 over Chicago Cubs (+130)

Marcus Stroman has not made the best first impression in Chicago. Through 47.1 innings, Stroman has a 5.32 ERA with a 1.23 WHIP and has not been as effective as last season. The 31-year-old has not pitched in the MLB since June 3 due to shoulder inflammation, and in the start before landing on the injured list, he allowed 9 runs on 10 hits in 4 innings to the Cardinals. Stroman made one rehab start for the Iowa Cubs on July 3 and he allowed 5 runs on 7 hits in 2.2 innings, so it’s safe to say he doesn’t seem ready.

Unfortunately for Stroman, he gets thrown into the fire immediately as he takes on the Dodgers in LA on Saturday night. The Dodgers rank 1st in slugging percentage, 2nd in on-base percentage, and 1st in OPS against right-handed pitching this season. Clayton Kershaw is coming off a 7 scoreless inning outing against the Padres and this game has all the signs of a blowout win for the Dodgers.
