LA Lakers 1-10 win margin (+170)
What on earth were the Lakers thinking resting a healthy Anthony Davis in their last game? They suffered an embarrassing loss at Houston against one of the 3 worst teams in the NBA, failing to reach the .500 mark for the first time since October. Now they have to bail themselves out against a direct contender for one of the remaining play-in spots. Dallas has beaten them 4 times in the last 5 meetings, however the latest one did go LA’s way 111-108 in that game when LeBron injured himself and they came back from 27 points down. The 3 meetings this season have been decided by 9, 4 and 3 points, so we could be in for another close finish tonight. Another thing working in the Lakers’ favor is injuries, as Dallas could be without both Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic. They struggled without the dynamic duo when barely beating the Spurs after OT in their last game. The Lakers are 8-4 SU in their last 12 games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 against Western Conference opponents. I’ll back them to win their 19th home game of the season.

Anthony Davis to score 35+ points (+310)
After getting 35 points and 17 rebounds from him in their win over New Orleans, the Lakers decided to keep AD out of the second night of a back-to-back against Houston. They lost that game, but at least now they get a rested Davis back, which should be a massive boost against the Mavs tonight. He’s cleared this line 3 times in his last 6 games, and in the win a month ago in Dallas he finished with 30 and 15 rebounds. He has faced the Mavs 32 times in his career, averaging 25.7 points per game. This might be the perfect time to play them, their interior defense has struggled a lot lately allowing 52 points per game in their last 3 outings. Even the offensively challenged Spurs put up 60 on them from the painted area, so it would be wise for the Lakers to push the ball on the inside for AD. With Markieff Morris and JaVale McGee doubtful for tonight, Dallas might run into issues about who to put on Davis. Whoever tries to defend him, I’m sure he will find ways to dominate. It’s time we got another signature performance from Davis.
