The Miami Heat head into Philadelphia in hopes of ending a 4-game losing streak. This will be the first meeting between the 2 teams since their epic Eastern Conference semifinal series last year. Tipoff is at 7.30 pm ET on NBA TV, and I have prepared a Same Game Parlay which you can find below.

We also have predictions on the side and total for the other 4 Monday games on our NBA predictions page, feel free to check those out as well!

Let’s dive into my SGP bet now.

Miami Heat +6 (-110)

The Heat may be on a 4-game losing streak, but when you have mentally strong players like Jimmy Butler on your team, it’s only a matter of time before things turn around. Why not against the team they beat 4-2 in the playoffs last year? Miami has struggled a bit on offense lately, but as they implement Kevin Love into the offense it will only get better as time goes on. Love adds much needed 3-point shooting, something the Heat will have to be good at tonight — as Philadelphia is 3rd in the NBA in defending the perimeter. The Sixers collapsed against Boston in their last game after leading by as many as 15 points. In 3 of their last 4 wins the margin of victory was just 5, 6 and 3 points, so they aren’t exactly blowing teams out these days. I expect Miami to put up a fight here; even if the Heat lose by 5 points our bet still lands.

Monday’s NBA mega parlay has +902 odds!

Jimmy Butler to score 25+ points (+170)

In 8 regular-season games against his former team since joining Miami, Butler is averaging 20.6 points. During the playoffs he elevated his average to 27.5 ppg on better than 50% shooting from the field. Even his 3-ball was falling in that series; he knocked down 2 threes in 3 consecutive games. In his last regular-season game at Wells Fargo Center he finished with 27 points, so I think it’s safe to assume we will see a motivated Butler in tonight’s game — especially considering the circumstances surrounding his team right now. You don’t see the Heat go on long losing streaks often, and the mentally fragile 76ers might be the best team for them to end the losing against. Despite having Embiid in the middle, Philly is allowing 51.3 points per game inside the paint over its last 3. For a player like Butler, that is really good news since the majority of his points come from the inside.

Tobias Harris Over 1.5 made threes (-138)

Harris is the guy the 76ers opted to sign instead of Butler back in 2019, so he, too, is playing tonight’s game with a chip on his shoulder. In 8 head-to-head duels since that transaction went down, Harris is averaging 16.3 points while averaging at least 1 triple. His 3-point percentage has been going up as of late, over the last 10 games overall he’s upped it to 40.5%, while in 30 home games he’s at 42.1%. In the 2 games since the break he has scored 20 and 19 points, continuing a run of 3 games in a row with at least 2 threes. Miami’s Achilles’ heel on defense is the perimeter this season, and with opponents shooting 39.7% against them in their last 3, Harris should have a field day in this one. Expect another solid output from Philly’s 4th scoring option.
