After an eventful Super Bowl Sunday, the NBA returns with a 10-game slate today with the highlight of the night being at crypto.com Arena where the LA Clippers host the Minnesota Timberwolves. The top spot in the West is up for grabs and I’ve prepared a Timberwolves vs Clippers Same Game Parlay to make things a little bit more interesting. You can also find out our NBA picks for tonight’s other matchups.

James Harden 4+ made threes (+240)

Rudy Gobert to record 2+ blocks (-130)

Same Game Parlay odds: +392

James Harden 4+ made threes (+240)

Harden’s three-point shooting has been remarkable over the last 10 games. He’s at 42.5% efficiency during that stretch, relying mostly on that shot to get the majority of his points. With Rudy Gobert manning the middle for Minnesota here, Harden will be forced to once again spend most of his time around the perimeter. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, as he’s recorded at least 5 threes in 4 of his last 6 games. So far in 5 February games, he’s making 48.6% of his attempts. In the first meeting of the season, he was able to score just 2 threes, but with the way he’s been playing lately, I think he can easily double that here. He’s scored at least 4 threes in 6 of his last 10 against the Timberwolves, and we’re getting good odds here at +240.

Rudy Gobert to record 2+ blocks (-130)

The first meeting of the season between these teams was a defensive battle and only 214 points were scored. Gobert’s presence was felt down low as the Clippers could only score 36 points from the paint, with Rudy finishing with 4 blocks. I don’t think the Timberwolves’ game plan will change all that much heading into tonight’s game, and with the way he has been playing lately, Gobert has a strong case for yet another Defensive Player of the Year award. He’s averaging 1.8 blocks per game since 2024 started, while in the last 10 meetings with the Clippers, he has recorded multiple blocks in 6 of them. With players like Russell Westbrook, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, the Clippers have quite a few slashers to the rim, so I think Gobert will have no issues collecting a couple of blocks in this game.
