It’s the second meeting this season between the Pelicans and Kings as they square off at the Golden 1 Center tonight. Tip-off is scheduled for 10:00 pm ET on NBA TV. My Suns vs Mavericks Same Game Parlay cashed yesterday, so it’s only right to try to hit another one tonight!

Domantas Sabonis to record 10+ assists (+260)

With De’Aaron Fox slightly bothered by a hamstring injury, some of his point-guard duties will end up in the hands of Domantas Sabonis tonight. That’s a pretty safe place for the ball. Sabonis is so talented on offense that he could average 10 assists per game if he wanted to. He has recorded 10 assists 10 times this season, and in a high-scoring game such as the one we’re expecting tonight he might have to do it again. New Orleans is very shorthanded due to injuries and might even be without starting center Jonas Valanciunas, who is questionable to play. With Zion Williamson out of the picture, Sabonis won’t run into that much defensive resistance. New Orleans just allowed 28 assists in a loss at Golden State, so the Pelicans aren’t exactly elite when it comes to stopping the opposing team’s ball movement. Another bet worth looking at in tonight’s high-volume scoring game is Sabonis to get a triple-double — you can get +330 odds on that with FanDuel.

Brandon Ingram to score 30+ points (+140)

Either Brandon Ingram or CJ McCollum seems sure to have a high-scoring night, and I’m more inclined to back Ingram as he is much tougher for opposing defenses to cover. He has the length to just shoot over defenders and he also has the range and is aggressive enough to go to he basket if his shot isn’t falling. Just 2 games ago he dropped 40 on the Portland Trail Blazers. The Kings defense hasn’t performed well after the All-Star break, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he repeated that performance. In his last 9 games he has shot 49.2% from the field and almost 40% from three. Against Sacramento he’s scored 30+ points twice in the last 4 games played, he’s also averaging 2.3 threes per game against them since joining the Pelicans. Scoring 30 points shouldn’t be an issue.
