Joel Embiid Over to Score 35+ Points (+155)

Looks like not being included in the MVP discussion this season has elevated Embiid’s game lately to a whole new level. He’s one of the most productive players in the NBA in terms of points per minutes averaging 32.7 a night while playing just 36.6 minutes in his last 10 games. He’s been on a scoring tear, clearing this line 3 times in his last 5 played, including a 42 point eruption last night in Indiana. You’d think having Gobert down in the middle would lift the Timberwolves defense to new heights, but that hasn’t been the case this season. They’re only 16th in the NBA in opponent points per game inside the paint, we just saw the Sacramento Kings score 60 on them from that area. That’s music to Embiid’s ears, he does most of his damage from up close. But, don’t let that fool you. He is also a capable three-point shooter, just 2 nights ago he scored 3 threes against the Milwaukee Bucks. When the big fella has it going he’s almost impossible to be stopped. I’m counting on him to bring another win for the Sixers in this 2nd game of a back-to-back.

Mike Conley to Score 15+ Points (+280)

We all know Mike Conley is a capable scorer, the problem is he defers to his teammates, sometimes even to his determent. His scoring was on full display in Minnesota’s win at Sacramento a couple of days ago as he dropped 24 on 7-for-12 shooting, including 4 of 8 made threes. He also connected on all 6 of his free throws, only good things happen when he increases his scoring output for the Timberwolves. In his last 10 games he’s scored double digit points in 6 of them, while against the Sixers in the last 10 games he’s averaging 15.8 points. Against a defensively challenged James Harden he and Anthony Edwards could be in for a productive night. Scoring has been off the charts in the last couple of 76ers games, if that trend continues tonight then I don’t think Conley will have any issues reaching at least 15 points here.

Rudy Gobert to Record 10+ Rebounds (-240)

And to end the Same Game Parlay I’ve opted for a slightly safer bet than usual. Getting 10 rebounds for a player like Rudy Gobert should be a walk in the park. Although he’s going up against Joel Embiid here, Gobert is Minnesota’s number one option on the glass by far. He’s averaging 12.6 boards per game in his last 7 outings, while failing to collect at least 10 of them only once against the Clippers. In head-to-head meetings vs Embiid he’s averaging 12.8 per game in 8 total meetings so far. Philadelphia’s biggest weakness this year is rebounding the basketball, they rank only 28th in the NBA averaging just 47.7 per game. Of course, that’s slightly due to the slower pace they play, but with only one elite rebounder on the roster (Embiid) I think Gobert can dominate the glass for his team tonight.
