The Suns have won both meetings against the Lakers this season, but with tonight’s game being in LA, it’s up to the purple and gold to fight back. Tip-off is scheduled for 10:00 pm ET on ESPN as part of their doubleheader right after the Golden State Warriors vs Dallas Mavericks game.

LA Lakers 1-10 win margin (+195)
This is as close to a must-win game for the Lakers as it gets with just 10 games remaining. Phoenix has been struggling a little, failing to cover in 5 straight and winning just once in those games. The Lakers once again relied on their defense to win against Orlando, and since the All-Star break they’re the #1 defensive team with a 111.3 rating. That should be the recipe for success tonight as well, it all comes down to whether or not they’ll be able to contain Devin Booker. With Jarred Vanderbilt and others to help out, I like their chances. With so much at stake I’m expecting a close game, but the Lakers should come out on top playing in front of a packed arena. They’ve flirted with .500 for a while now, and winning tonight would get them within a game of that record.

Anthony Davis to score 30+ points (+150)
If there was ever a game for Anthony Davis to go off, it is the one tonight at Crypto.com Arena. The Suns will be heavily shorthanded with the absence of Deandre Ayton which weakens an already thin front line with Kevin Durant out. The Suns have been the 8th-worst team in the NBA over the last 3 games when it comes to points allowed from inside the paint, with opponents racking up 56 per game from that area against them. We just saw Oklahoma City score 124 points on them, which was the third time in their last 5 games that they’ve allowed 120+ points. Davis left a lot to be desired in the win over Orlando a couple of nights ago when he scored just 15 points, but LA cannot rely on Austin Reaves to carry them on a nightly basis, so either AD or D’Angelo Russell will have to have a big scoring game. The big man seems like the logical choice as he has scored 30+ points 5 times in his last 10 games, while against the Suns he had 37 points and 21 rebounds the last time he faced them. He has also cleared this line twice in their last 4 meetings.
