We are on the verge of an upset in the East, as the #1 seed Detroit Pistons will be fighting for their playoff lives on the road against the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday night. The situation is different out west, where the San Antonio Spurs will be on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves, looking to close out the series and join the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals. You can watch both games live on PRIME tonight, starting with the 7:00 PM ET tip time in Cleveland.
Take a look at our NBA Playoff previews, but first, check out my favorite player props for the Friday night action in the Association.
NBA player prop: Isaiah Stewart (DET) over 3.5 points (+100)
Isaiah Steward is coming into Game 6 after his best scoring performance of the series, managing 8 points in Game 5. The Pistons outscored the Cavaliers by 12 points during his time on the floor in that game. With the season on the line, it would not be surprising to see him earn more playing time here. Stewart comes in off the bench for Jalen Duren, who has really struggled this postseason. He is averaging just 9.4 points and 6.6 rebounds through the 5 games in this series and was a -16 on the floor in the last game. Do not be surprised to see him pulled for Stewart early if he does not show signs of improvement. The backup has managed to score 4 or more points in 4 of the 5 games in this series and should be well positioned to keep that going here.

NBA player prop: Anthony Edwards (MIN) over 26.5 points (+100)
With the Timberwolves’ backs against the wall, expect Anthony Edwards to take responsibility and put the team on his shoulders. He did that in the 2 games played in Minnesota in this series, managing 32 and 36 points in those contests, respectively. They were also the only games in the series in which he managed to attempt 20 or more field goal attempts. You would have to go back to January to find a game in which Edwards attempted that many shots and did not score 30 points. He has had success from deep too, shooting 40% from range against the Spurs in this series. It should keep him out of the clutches of Victor Wembanyama and allow him to rack up points tonight.
