NBA Prop Bets Today: Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley amongst best NBA Player Props for Sunday

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. It all comes down to this for the final spot in the NBA Conference Finals. The Detroit Pistons defied the odds by winning Game 6 on the road against the Cleveland Cavaliers and forcing tonight’s Game 7. The Cavaliers will now be need to pick up a win on the road in order to avoid seeing their season end tonight. You can catch tonight’s game live on PRIME.

Now, let’s check out my favorite player props for the Cavaliers/Pistons game below.

Jarrett Allen (CLE) over 12.5 points (-105)

Through the first 6 game of the series Jarrett Allen has remained a consistent scoring threat. He has scored 13 or more points in 4 of the games so far, managing to make 65.9% of his field goal attempts. After averaging 17.7 points against them in the regular season, Allen has had success against the Pistons all season. The focus for his opponents will be to keep the likes of Donovan Mitchell quite, which should allow the Cavaliers center to offer himself as a relief option for his guards. This series he has also shown improvement from the free throw line, making 73.3% from the charity stripe. It should allow him to stay on the court late in games. He has seen 30 or more minutes in 5 straight games and similar playing time here should give him plenty of opportunities to hit the over on this line.

Evan Mobley (CLE) under 8.5 rebounds (-125)

Cavaliers forward Evan Mobley has struggled to influence this series on the glass. Though the 6 games he has hit the over on this line just once, with that being the very first game of the series. One of the issues that he has faced is being matched up against Tobias Harris. The Pistons forward is a threat from mid-range and beyond which often pulls Mobley away from favorable rebounding position. In 4 regular season games Mobley also managed the over on this line just once, so his issues rebounding the ball against them is not a new thing to this series. His opponents are also 3rd among all playoff teams in rebounding percentage this postseason so should be well positioned to challenge the power forward on the glass.
