For the 2nd series in a row the Detroit Pistons find themselves in a Game 7 scenario, as they host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday with the winner advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals. Historically the Cavaliers have a better record in Game 7s at 7-2 compared to the Pistons 6-5, however Detroit is yet to lose in 5 home Game 7s. Tip-off is set for 8 pm ET on Prime Video.

Duncan Robinson 2+ Made Threes (-205)
The Pistons bench players showed up in a big way in Game 6 scoring 48 points, Duncan Robinson scored 14 of those on 4-for-7 from three. After skipping Game 5 due to injury, head coach J.B. Bickerstaff opted for a more cautious approach playing Robinson off the bench, the veteran is no stranger to this role having played it for a decent chunk of his last 3 years with the Miami Heat. His experience will be very valuable in Sunday’s game, I expect the defenses to tighten up on the inside, so both teams might be forced to rely more on the deep ball. After shooting 41% from three-point territory during the regular season, Robinson has increased that to 44.7% in these 12 postseason games. The series against the Cavs has been particularly efficient, with him knocking down 57.6% of his attempts. With him clearing this line in 10 of 12 games this postseason run, I feel quite confident in his ability of doing so on Sunday as well.
Max Strus 3+ Made Threes (+128)
After a heroic display in Game 5 where he finished with 20 points and made 6 threes on 8 attempts, Strus laid an egg on Friday just like the rest of the Cavaliers and scored just 6 points on 2-for-9 from the field. I still have high hopes from him for Sunday’s game and I’m sure the Cavaliers do as well. Over the years he’s shown to be a reliable scorer in elimination games, scoring in double-figures 4 times in 5 such games as a member of the Cavs and Heat. Detroit’s three-point defense has struggled for the most part in this series, they’re allowing 36% of threes over the last 3 games, during the regular season they were at 34.4% of allowed threes which was the best mark in the NBA. Strus has delivered at least two threes in 8 of 12 meetings with the Pistons, with Harden and Mitchell not being the most reliable of scoring options in Game 7s, I think the Cavs would be wise to go to Strus more often than they usually do.
Cade Cunningham to Record 8+ Assists (-210)
It goes without saying that the Pistons will only go as far as Cade Cunningham takes them in Game 7. Turnovers have been an issue for him this entire postseason run, but that is to be expected with basically every single offensive possession going through him regardless of the defensive coverages he sees. He flourished with 32 points and 12 assists in Game 7 of Round 1 against Orlando, he’s dished out 8 assists in 5 of his last 7 postseason games. So far this season he’s appeared in 77 games, clearing this line in 58 of them which comes out to a success rate of 75%. In home games that goes up to 78%, with him doing so in 28 of 36 games at Little Ceasars Arena. I quite like his chances of having another productive game on Sunday, especially if James Harden pulls off another disappearing act in a Game 7, something he has done far too often on his hall of fame career.
