NBA Sunday Same Game Parlay (+970 odds): Memphis Grizzlies vs. Golden State Warriors

Draymond Green Grizzlies vs Warriors

The NBA regular season is coming to a close today and we have been blessed with a gigantic 15-game NBA slate. The only catch is, there will be a ton of guys sitting out since most of the games won’t have a lot of meaning in the grand scheme of things. Thankfully for us, the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors game means a lot for both teams. Whoever wins, will only have to play in one play-in game while the loser will have to play two to advance. This game is on ESPN which means it’s perfect for a same game parlay.

Kevon Looney over 5.5 points (-116)

This feels a bit disrespectful to our guy Kevon Looney. Alright, really disrespectful. First off, if you are familiar with math, he only needs to put the ball in the basket three times to hit this number. That’s not a lot of times. He should play minutes in the 20s given that the Grizzlies have Jonas Valanciunas to deal with. The last time Looney saw Valanciunas, he hit him up for 11 points. I think this is a very low bar for Looney and I think he clears it.

Kevon Looney over 6.5 rebounds (-110)

Here’s another extremely disrespectful number the books hung on Looney. We shouldn’t stand for this type of nonsense. Looney has done nothing but go over this number in each of his last five starts. In three of those starts, he pulled down double digit boards. His path to this number is not helped by the fact that the Grizzlies and Valanciunas are good rebounders. While that’s true, we also can’t act like seven is a ton of boards. Look for Looney to post a giant 8-8 type line today.

Steph Curry over 35.5 points (-122)

Big games call for big names to step up. It’s a fact that’s as old as time. This game is very big for both of these teams as nobody wants to have to play two play-in games to advance. That’s just not smart. While 36 points is a borderline ridiculous total for any player, Steph Curry can be trusted here. In his last six games, Curry has topped this number four times. One of the times he missed it, he ended with 34 points. This is the type of game where he goes for 40+. The  Grizzlies will have a hard time with Curry today.

Draymond Green over 0.5 made threes (-132)

Green isn’t exactly Curry from behind the arc but he can sling it a little. All he has to do is hit one three for this to cash so we’re not asking much. In his last three games, he has managed to do this and he looks willing to try. In those three games, he’s taken an average of three per game which is one more than his season average of two. That extra one attempt could mean the difference of winning and losing this bet. I think he takes at least three today since on one team in the NBA has seen opponents attempt more threes over the last three games than the Grizzlies. We just need one to go in!
