The 2023 NBA calendar has got off to an exciting start, and we should have more thrilling action on Thursday. The highlight is in Denver as the Nuggets take on the Los Angeles Clippers. We’ll be focusing on that game in this mega parlay, as well as two others that should feature plenty of offense.

Head over to our NBA predictions for picks on the spread and total for every game on the board, but for now, let’s jump into our NBA mega parlay.

Dallas Mavericks ML (+110)

Utah Jazz vs Houston Rockets over 232 (-110)

Denver Nuggets 1-10 win margin (+175)

Parlay odds: +1002

Dallas Mavericks ML (+110) over Boston Celtics

This is a spot that screams Boston after the Celtics just lost to Oklahoma City, while the Mavericks are in the midst of a 7-game winning streak. However, I won’t be fading this Mavericks team as an underdog at home, especially with the way Luka Doncic is playing. Doncic is leading the pack when it comes to MVP candidates in the NBA this season, and his recent stretch has catapulted Dallas to a top-4 seed in the Western Conference. The Mavericks now sit at 6th in offensive rating, 6th in true shooting percentage and 6th effective field-goal percentage on the season. And while Boston’s offense is still outstanding, the Celtics have slipped a bit on defense, most notably surrendering 150 points to the Thunder on Tuesday. This is not a spot where I can fade Dallas just yet. We ride with Luka.

Utah Jazz vs Houston Rockets over 232 points (-110)

The Jazz and Rockets are both going through hard times. After a hot start to the season, the Jazz have crashed back down to earth, including 5 straight losses to drop below .500 on the year. It’s clear that Utah’s early-season momentum has faltered in recent games, which could signify more losses to come for the Jazz. On the other side, the Rockets have been one of the worst teams in basketball from the start of the campaign, and that has certainly reared its ugly head on the defensive end. Houston is ranked 28th in the league in defensive rating, while the Jazz aren’t much better, checking in at 27th in that category. To make matters worse for Houston, the Rockets will be playing the second game of a back-to-back, so don’t expect a stellar defensive effort here. I’ll back the over with confidence.

Denver Nuggets 1-10 win margin over Los Angeles Clippers (+175)

I’ve targeted the Nuggets at home quite often this season, and that won’t change in this matchup. Denver is getting another incredible season from Nikola Jokic and the pieces around him (Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr.) are starting to come together. Denver is a resounding 14-3 at home this season, including recent wins over the Suns, Heat and Celtics. The Nuggets now face a tough test against a Clippers team that is finally at full strength. However, Los Angeles is in the midst of a difficult stretch, having just dropped 3 straight games to the Celtics, Pacers and Heat. The Nuggets are one of the best offenses in basketball, which should come in handy against a stout Los Angeles perimeter defense. Four of Denver’s last 6 victories have come by single digits, so I’ll shoot for a similar result.
