Philadelphia 76ers -5 over Sacramento Kings (-110)
De’Aaron Fox is questionable for Tuesday, and even if he plays I like Philadelphia. Sacramento still qualifies as 1 of the most surprising teams in the NBA, but it has cooled off a bit since a scorching-hot start. The Kings are 4-5 in the last 9 overall and they currently find themselves in the middle of a 6-game road trip. It would be understandable if they are dealing with some tired legs, especially given that they have been undermanned for a while (Fox hasn’t played since last Wednesday).
The 76ers are without Tyrese Maxey, but Joel Embiid and James Harden have been picking up the slack and are more than capable of keeping their team in fine form. Look for the Sixers to win and cover without too much trouble.

New Orleans Pelicans -5 alternate spread over Utah Jazz (+145)
The Pelicans are 1 of the hottest teams in the league right now, riding a 7-game winning streak into Tuesday’s matchup against the Jazz following 2 consecutive victories over the Suns. Meanwhile, the Jazz have stumbled a bit lately with losses to the Nuggets and Timberwolves in their past 2 outings. The Pels are without Herb Jones and Brandon Ingram, but they have been getting the job done without them during this surge and should be able to do the same on Tuesday. Zion Williamson has picked up the slack and then some, as he is a dominant force down low and finding his groove on both ends of the floor. Utah’s early-season momentum has stalled, which gives New Orleans all the more reason to win this game comfortably.

Los Angeles Lakers ML over Boston Celtics (+140)
The Celtics have not only lost their last 2 games but also now have to play the second of a back-to-back situation. It’s not exactly panic time in Boston; after all, this is still the best team in the league we are talking about. But this particular game sets up well for the Lakers, who are at home and more rested. They are also playing decent basketball on the heels of their disastrous start, with a 9-5 record in the last 14 contests. LeBron James and Anthony Davis scored 35 and 34 points in their most recent game, while Russell Westbrook has been more effective coming off the bench. Well into plus-money, Los Angeles has great value on the money line.
