I'm an NFL handicapper here at Pickswise who was raised in a household full of sports fanatics. Since I unfortunately never had LeBron James' jumping ability I wasn't able to make it to the NBA, and chose writing about sports as the next best thing. An avid sports bettor myself, I'm excited to get to write about the industry as it gets set to take off across the country. Buckle up. The NFL is probably the only sport in which consistently betting teasers might actually make you some money. Points are so valuable in the NFL that it often makes sense to tease a game if you can move a point spread through some key numbers. That’s what we’ll be talking about today.

The season is approaching the home stretch, and now we’re ready to turn our attention to this Week 13 card. After reading this article, be sure to check out our expert NFL picks for free picks on the side and total of every game this week. But first, let’s dive into my favorite Week 13 teaser as well as a Week 13 parlay.

NFL Teaser Week 13 – 2-team, 6-point (-110)

Minnesota Vikings -1.5 (from -7.5)

The Vikings are my favorite teaser leg for Week 13. Most importantly, we’re going from 7.5 through the two most key numbers in 7 and 3. Lions fans are still waiting for their first win of the season, and they likely aren’t going to get it here. Minnesota is much better than their record indicates, and should roll even without Dalvin Cook. The game between these teams in Minnesota earlier this year came down to the final seconds, but it never should have. The Vikings had the ball up 10 with three minutes to play, and it took an incredible series of events for them to almost lose. Minnesota makes for an especially great teaser leg, because they always manage to make games closer than they should be. I’d be wary of counting on them to win by double digits, but they should win this game outright.

Philadelphia Eagles -1 (from -7)

Again we’re hitting the two most key numbers in 3 and 7. The Jets were able to escape with a rare win over the Texans last week, but should come crashing down to earth. This is a big step up in competition. Houston is pretty lifeless on both sides of the ball, while the Eagles had been playing really well up until they had a hiccup last week against the Giants. Philly’s emerging dominant ground game should run all over the Jets. Zach Wilson got the victory last week, but he still didn’t look like a competent NFL quarterback. I expect him to struggle mightily.

Seahawks ML (+150)

Now is the time to buy low on the Seahawks. I’m not high on this Seattle team, but the market has now overreacted. They shouldn’t be this large of a home ‘dog against a 49ers team that’s going to be without Deebo Samuel. Samuel has been one of the keys to their recent offensive resurgence. San Francisco wants to run the ball first and foremost, but the Seahawks are pretty good at defending opposing rushing attacks. This is Russell Wilson’s last stand, and I expect a bounce back from him at home after he’s been raked over the coals for his recent performances.

Broncos vs Chiefs under 47.5 (-110)

If you follow me on Twitter, you know I’m usually an under guy. And I love it here for Sunday Night Football. When I tweeted it out the total was 49, but I still like it at 47.5. The Chiefs’ defense isn’t getting enough credit for their turnaround, and they’ve quietly given up 17 or fewer points in 4 straight games. On the flip side, Kansas City’s offense has been underwhelming, and Denver’s defense is starting to get healthier with Bradley Chubb and others now back in the fold. The Broncos’ offense has a pretty low ceiling, and I don’t see them doing much on the road.
