NFL Week 1 picks and predictions - Millionaire maker 15-team money line parlay at +401235: Ravens, 49ers and Eagles take care of business

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (8) runs to the sidelines against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first quarter at TIAA Bank Field.

It’s finally here, and it’s glorious. The Week 1 slate started with a Detroit Lions upset win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night, and I’m sure that won’t be the last upset we see this week. And what better way to celebrate the return of football than with a millionaire parlay? That’s right, I’ve taken a money line pick from every game this week (besides the Thursday Night Football game) to create this massive +401235 parlay. Are you ready? Because I sure am.

San Francisco 49ers ML (-132) over Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers are expecting a big season from Kenny Pickett, but his first test is against the best defense in the NFL. I’m backing Mr. Irrelevant and co. in Week 1.

Atlanta Falcons ML (-198) over Carolina Panthers

I’ll get straight to the point – the Panthers are starting a rookie QB. Bryce Young is incredibly talented, but I’m not going to back a rookie quarterback in their NFL debut, especially against a decent Atlanta defense.

Baltimore Ravens ML (-460) over Houston Texans

Just like above, I’m not backing a rookie quarterback in Week 1. Oh, and the Ravens have Lamar Jackon, Mark Andrews, Odell Beckham Jr. and Zay Flowers, so I’m not overthinking this one.

Cleveland Browns ML (+108) over Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow just became the highest-paid player in football. Good for him, but I’m worried about his calf. Plus, the Browns are very underrated this season with Deshaun Watson at quarterback.

Minnesota Vikings ML (-240) over Tampa Bay Buccaneers

For the first time in nearly 2 decades, Tom Brady isn’t in the NFL. And Baker Mayfield is no Brady, so I’m fading Tampa Bay’s offense and taking the Vikings.

Washington Commanders ML (-360) over Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals are a mess. No Kyler Murray, their defense is still several below-average and James Conner is just getting older. I’ll side with the youth and the Commanders.

Tennessee Titans ML (+138) over New Orleans Saints

It’s a new era in New Orleans with Derek Carr at quarterback, but they are still without Alvin Kamara. Until I see what their offense looks like without him, I’ll fade the Saints.

Jacksonville Jaguars ML (-230) over Indianapolis Colts

I’m expecting big things from Trevor Lawrence and the Jags this season. With Travis Etienne Jr. and Calvin Ridley back in the mix, I’ll happily back them against an inexperienced Colts offense.

Philadelphia Eagles ML (-210) over New England Patriots

The Patriots should be much better this season, but the Eagles are still the defending NFC Champs. I like their chances of starting the season with a win.

Las Vegas Raiders ML (+138) over Denver Broncos

Sean Payton has definitely changed the culture in Denver, but I’m not so sure that will mean the wins come immediately. I’m taking Jimmy G in the Mile High City.

Seattle Seahawks ML (-200) over Los Angeles Rams

Here’s all you need to know: No Cooper Kupp. Without him, I’m not expecting much from the Rams.

Chicago Bears ML (-116) over Green Bay Packers

I’m not a Jordan Love believer yet… but I certainly am a fan of Justin Fields. The Bears should be much better this season, and I’m expecting them to show it in Week 1.

Miami Dolphins ML (+130) over Los Angeles Chargers

It’s not that I don’t believe in Justin Herbert, it’s just that I’m very optimistic on the Fins this season. Tua looks much healthier and they still have Tyreek Hill on offense, so that’s good enough for me.

New York Giants ML (+152) over Dallas Cowboys

Sunday Night Football is an NFC East showdown, and while the Cowboys have a lot of hype around them this season (like always), I like what the Giants have put together. With a healthy Saquon and Daniel Jones, I like their chances of an upset.

Buffalo Bills ML (-142) over New York Jets

Yes, Aaron Rodgers is now on the Jets. However, the Bills are still the team to beat in the AFC East and deserve to be the favorite until they show they aren’t.
