NFL Week 3 Sunday Night Football same game parlay (+1300 odds): Green Bay Packers vs San Francisco 49ers

Deebo Samuel races away to the end zone in the 49ers Week One win at the Detroit Lions same game parlay

Sunday Night Football brings together two of the powerhouses of the NFC as the San Francisco 49ers bid to move to 3-0 at the expense of the Green Bay Packers.

After two road wins at Detroit and Philadelphia, the Niners can finally look forward to a home game against an opponent they have obliterated on the previous two occasions they have met at Levi’s Stadium.

The Packers avoided falling to 0-2 by seeing off the Detroit Lions on Monday but that told us little about whether they are over the embarrassment they suffered at the hands of the New Orleans Saints in Week 1. This should tell us a lot more.

As if this game wasn’t exciting enough, we have put together a same game parlay that pays +1300 with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s break down each leg, but make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for all of the NFL Week 3 matchups.

San Francisco 49ers ML (-166)

Deebo Samuel over 67.5 receiving yards (-114)

Eli Mitchell to score a touchdown (+125)

Davante Adams to score a touchdown (-120)

Parlay odds: +1300

Let’s get into each leg.

San Francisco 49ers ML (-166)

On paper, this is not a good matchup for the Packers. They got pushed around by the Saints and face a similar fate against both lines of the Niners, who impressed defensively in their Week 2 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Green Bay haven’t been able to get much going in the running game through two weeks, while without David Bakhtiari to protect him, Aaron Rodgers has faced his fair share of jeopardy, being sacked five times.

I like the Niners to put Rodgers under pressure, just like the Saints did when the reigning MVP posted the worst quarterback rating of his career. On the other side of the ball, expect Jimmy Garoppolo to get plenty of protection and time to pick apart this talent-poor secondary, and for the home team to create some big running lanes.

Deebo Samuel over 67.5 receiving yards (-114)

Deebo Samuel is far and away Garoppolo’s favorite target this year and that has put the wideout in some rarefied company. Samuel has 282 receiving yards through two weeks, the most by a Niners receiver at this stage of the season since Jerry Rice in 1989.

Samuel leads the league in receiving yards, yards after the catch, and yards per game (141) through two weeks and should enjoy the matchup against Green Bay’s Kevin King, who struggled against Detroit’s limited receiving core on Monday.

Eli Mitchell to score a touchdown (+125)

It is worth keeping an eye on the 49ers’ injury report before taking this prop with Mitchell a doubt due to a shoulder injury. He’s trending in the right direction and if he does play he should be the lead back for a team that has gashed the Packers in the run game in the past, rushing for 282 in a Sunday night clash with Green Bay in 2019.

Mitchell found the going tough against Philadelphia but went for 104 yards and a touchdown in the win over Detroit in Week 1. If Mitchell suits up, he could be in for another big day with Kyle Shanahan having plenty of credit in the bank when it comes to getting the best out of his backs.

Davante Adams to score a touchdown (-120)

Davante Adams has enjoyed previous meetings with the 49ers, averaging 116 yards in four games, which have produced four touchdowns.

Adams was quiet in Week 1 and although he went for over 121 yards against Detroit, last year’s leading touchdown scorer is yet to get in the endzone. With the 49ers limited at cornerback, it is worth adding Adams to our parlay to get his first TD of the season.
